Abstract

Sebagai salah satu kabupaten di Jawa Timur, Kabupaten Bojonegoro memiliki potensi ekonomi lokal berupa sentra industri pengolahan kayu. Desa Sukorejo merupakan salah satu desa di Kabupaten Bojonegoro yang diarahkan untuk mengembangkan potensinya pada bidang sentra meubel dan ukir. Adanya arahan ini nyatanya masih belum dikembangkan dengan optimal, hal ini terlihat dari banyak pengrajin dan pengusaha lokal belum mampu meningkatkan kapasitas produksi dan daya saing produk kayu, disebabkan oleh keterbatasan keterampilan, inovasi teknologi, dan minimnya strategi pengembangan yang terarah. Kondisi ini menimbulkan tantangan dalam mengoptimalkan potensi bahan baku serta meningkatkan kesejahteraan masyarakat desa. Maka dari itu, diperlukan pendekatan strategis yang mampu memadukan potensi lokal dengan pengembangan industri secara berkelanjutan, salah satunya melalui konsep One Village One Product (OVOP).
Penggunaan metode OVOP dalam penelitian ini penting karena pendekatan ini secara langsung menempatkan potensi unik setiap desa sebagai basis pengembangan produk unggulan, sekaligus mendorong inovasi, partisipasi aktif masyarakat lokal, pendistribusian produk; sehingga produk meubel yang mampu bersaing di pasar internasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan merumuskan arahan pengembangan industri pengolahan kayu di Sukorejo dengan pendekatan OVOP untuk meningkatkan daya saing dan keberlanjutan usaha. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan paradigma rasionalistik, melakukan analisis mendalam terhadap faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pengembangan industri, serta identifikasi karakteristik dan masalah yang ada. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa potensi bahan baku cukup besar dan didukung regulasi daerah, namun perlu peningkatan kapasitas sumber daya manusia dan inovasi produk. Rekomendasi strategis meliputi peningkatan keterampilan, inovasi teknologi, dan pemanfaatan strategi OVOP yang terintegrasi guna memperkuat posisi industri kayu lokal di pasar nasional dan internasional. Dengan implementasi langkah strategis tersebut, diharapkan industri pengolahan kayu di Sukorejo dapat berkembang secara berkelanjutan, meningkatkan pendapatan masyarakat, serta menjaga kelestarian lingkungan dan warisan budaya lokal.

As one of the regencies in East Java, Bojonegoro Regency has local economic potential in the form of a wood processing industri center. Sukorejo Village is one of the villages in Bojonegoro Regency that is directed to develop its potential in the furniture and carving sector. However, this direction has not yet been optimally developed, as evidenced by many local craftsmen and entrepreneurs who have not been able to increase production capacity and the competitiveness of wood products, due to limited skills, technological innovation, and a lack of targeted development strategies. This situation poses challenges in optimizing raw material potential and improving the welfare of the village community. Therefore, a strategic approach is needed that can integrate local potential with sustainable industrial development, one of which is through the One Village One Product (OVOP) concept. The use of the OVOP method in this research is important because this approach directly positions the unique potential of each village as the basis for developing superior products, while also encouraging innovation, active participation from the local community, and product distribution, allowing the furniture produced to be marketed internationally. This study aims to formulate directions for the development of the wood processing industri in Sukorejo using the OVOP approach to enhance competitiveness and business sustainability. The methodology used is qualitative with a rationalistic paradigm, conducting an in-depth analysis of the faktors influencing industrial development, as well as identifying existing characteristics and problems. The research results indicate that the potential for raw materials is quite large and supported by regional regulations; however, there is a need to improve human resource capacity and product innovation. Strategic recommendations include enhancing skills, technological innovation, and utilizing an integrated OVOP strategy to strengthen the position of the local wood industri in national and international markets. With the implementation of these strategic steps, it is hoped that the wood processing industri in Sukorejo can develop sustainably, increase community income, and preserve environmental sustainability and local cultural heritage.
