Abstract

Pohon pada Jalan Teknik Sipil dan Danau 8 Kampus ITS Sukolilo memiliki peran penting secara fungsional dan estetika yang didapatkan ketika pohon dalam keadaan sehat atau dalam kondisi fisik yang baik. Kondisi fisik pohon yang buruk dapat membahayakan pengguna jalan dan bangunan di sekitarnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menginventarisasi jenis dan tingkat kesehatan pohon di Jalan Teknik Sipil dan Danau 8 Kampus ITS Sukolilo sehingga hasilnya dapat dijadikan acuan dalam penanganan pohon. Pengamatan dilakukan dengan metode sensus pada pohon dengan diameter batang >10 cm yang diukur pada DBH dan tinggi >130 cm. Identifikasi kesehatan pohon dilakukan dengan metode Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) yang kemudian dimasukkan ke dalam Nilai Indeks Kerusakan (NIK) pohon untuk digolongkan menjadi empat kelas kesehatan pohon, yaitu kelas sehat, kerusakan ringan, kerusakan sedang, dan kerusakan berat. Hasil Penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 242 pohon dari 32 spesies, 29 genus, dan 19 familia. Dari seluruh pohon yang diamati, 236 pohon diantaranya dalam kelas sehat, dan 6 lainnya dalam kelas kerusakan ringan, serta tidak terdapat pohon dalam kelas kerusakan sedang dan berat, species pohon yang mengalami kerusakan ringan adalah Swietenia mahagoni sebanyak 2 pohon, Albizia saman sebanyak 2 pohon dan Pterocarpus indica sebanyak 2 pohon ==================================================================================================================================== Trees on Civil Engineering Road and Lake 8 ITS Sukolilo Campus have an important role functionally and aesthetically which is obtained when the trees are healthy or in good physical condition. Poor physical condition of trees can endanger road users and surrounding buildings. This study was conducted to inventory the types and health levels of trees on Civil Engineering Road and Lake 8 ITS Sukolilo Campus so that the results can be used as a reference in handling trees. Observations were carried out using the census method on trees with a trunk diameter of >10 cm measured at DBH and a height of >130 cm. Identification of tree health was carried out using the Forest Health Monitoring (FHM) method which was then entered into the Damage Index Value (NIK) of the tree to be classified into four tree health classes, namely healthy class, light damage, moderate damage, and heavy damage. The results of the observations are included in the tree damage index value which is grouped into four tree health categories, namely healthy, lightly damaged, moderately damaged, and heavily damaged. The research results showed that there were 242 trees from 32 species, 29 genera and 19 families. Of all the trees observed, trees were in the healthy category, and 6 others were in the light damage category, and there were no trees in the moderate and heavy damage categories, The tree species that experienced light damage were 2 Swietenia mahagoni trees, 2 Albizia saman trees and 2 Pterocarpus indica trees
