Abstract

Kebutuhan akan sumber energi baru terbarukan yang berkelanjutan, mendorong pengembangan teknologi konversi energi laut, salah satunya adalah teknologi konversi energi gelombang laut tipe oscillating body. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah dashboard interaktif sebagai alat bantu analisis investasi teknologi konversi energi gelombang laut yang direncanakan untuk lokasi selasar pantai Indonesia. Dashboard dirancang untuk memungkinkan pengguna melakukan input data, melakukan perhitungan otomatis, dan mendapatkan output data. Perhitungan dalam dashboard didasarkan pada indikator kelayakan investasi seperti Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), Discounted Payback Period (DPP), dan Profitability Index (PI), serta indikator efektivitas investasi yaitu Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). Perancangan dashboard dimulai dengan identifikasi parameter keuangan dan teknis. Data teknis yang digunakan mengacu pada studi teknologi SEAREV, khususnya generasi G21 yang sesuai dengan karakteristik perairan di selasar pantai Indonesia. Dashboard dikembangkan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Python, code editor Visual Studio Code, dan framework Streamlit untuk menghasilkan sistem yang responsif, informatif, dan mudah digunakan. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa dashboard mampu menghitung indikator kelayakan dan efektivitas investasi secara otomatis dan menampilkan output berupa nilai indikator, status kelayakan dan efektivitas, serta grafik perbandingan. Perhitungan yang dilakukan oleh dashboard menunjukkan konsistensi dengan hasil perhitungan manual menggunakan Microsoft Excel. Dengan demikian, dashboard ini dapat menjadi alat bantu dasar yang aplikatif dalam mengevaluasi kelayakan serta efektivitas investasi teknologi konversi energi gelombang laut di selasar pantai Indonesia.

The growing demand for sustainable renewable energy sources drives the development of ocean energy conversion technologies, one of which is wave energy conversion using oscillating body-type devices. This study aims to design an interactive dashboard as a decision-support tool for investment analysis in wave energy conversion technology, specifically planned for nearshore coastal areas in Indonesia. The dashboard is designed to allow users to input data, perform automated calculations, and obtain output results. The calculations are based on investment feasibility indicators such as Net Present Value (NPV), Internal Rate of Return (IRR), Payback Period (PP), Discounted Payback Period (DPP), and Profitability Index (PI), as well as the investment effectiveness indicator, Levelized Cost of Energy (LCOE). The design process begins with the identification of financial and technical parameters. The technical data used is based on studies of the SEAREV technology, particularly the G21 generation, which matches the characteristics of Indonesia’s nearshore waters. The dashboard is developed using the Python programming language, Visual Studio Code as the code editor, and the Streamlit framework to produce a responsive, informative, and user-friendly system. Testing results show that the dashboard can automatically calculate investment feasibility and effectiveness indicators and display outputs including indicator values, feasibility and effectiveness status, and comparative graphs. The calculations performed by the dashboard are consistent with manual calculations conducted using Microsoft Excel. Therefore, this dashboard can serve as a practical decision-support tool in evaluating the feasibility and effectiveness of wave energy conversion technology investments in the nearshore regions of Indonesia.
