Abstract

Alur Sungai Barito merupakan jalur pelayaran strategis yang menghadapi berbagai tantangan keselamatan. Kepadatan kapal masuk dan keluar alur merupakan hal yang dimitigasi keselamatannya. Penggunaan teknologi navigasi seperti Automatic Identification System (AIS) dapat meningkatkan keselamatan dan efisiensi pelayaran, namun adopsinya di kalangan operator kapal masih terbatas. Penggunaan perangkat teknologi navigasi (AIS, Virtual SBNP dan Radio Komunikasi) oleh pengguna, pengelola dan regulator dari skor 1-5 pengguna memiliki nilai 3.78, sedangkan pengelola memiliki skor 4.39 dan regulator memiliki skor 4.22. Kelompok pengguna memiliki tingkat penggunaan yang lebih rendah daripada kelompok pengelola dan regulator. Penelitian ini menganalisis penerimaan teknologi navigasi di Alur Sungai Barito menggunakan Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), yang melibatkan lima variabel: Perceived Usefulness(PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Attitude Toward Using (ATU), Behavioral Intention (BI), dan Actual System Use (AU). Hasil analisis menggunakan PLS-SEM menunjukkan bahwa PEU berpengaruh positif terhadap PU (t-statistic = 10.056, p value = 0), PEU berpengaruh signifikan terhadap ATU (t-statistic = 4.131, p-value = 0), dan ATU berpengaruh signifikan terhadap BI (t-statistic = 5.059, p-value = 0). PU berpengaruh signifikan terhadap BI (t-statistic = 5.875, p-value = 0) dan BI berpengaruh positif terhadap AU (t-statistic = 8.898, p-value = 0). Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa sebagian besar hubungan antar variabel dalam TAM signifikan, dengan pengaruh positif antara PEU dan PU, PEU dan ATU, ATU dan BI, serta BI dan AU. Namun, hubungan antara PU dan ATU tidak menunjukkan signifikansi, yang mengindikasikan bahwa persepsi kegunaan tidak langsung memengaruhi sikap terhadap penggunaan teknologi. Penerimaan ini memberikan kontribusi dalam pengembangan kebijakan dan strategi penerimaan teknologi navigasi di sektor pelayaran

The Barito River channel is a strategic shipping route that faces various safety challenges. The density of incoming and outgoing vessels poses safety risks that need to be mitigated. The use of navigation technologies such as the Automatic Identification System (AIS) can enhance navigation safety and efficiency; however, its adoption among ship operators remains limited. The use of navigation technology devices (AIS, Virtual Aids to Navigation, and Radio Communication) scored 3.78 among users, 4.39 among managers, and 4.22 among regulators on a scale of 1 to 5. Users demonstrated lower usage levels compared to managers and regulators. This study analyzes the acceptance of navigation technology in the Barito River channel using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), which involves five variables: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEU), Attitude Toward Using (ATU), Behavioral Intention (BI), and Actual System Use (AU). The PLS-SEM analysis results show that PEU has a positive effect on PU (t statistic = 10.056, p-value = 0), PEU significantly affects ATU (t-statistic = 4.131, p-value = 0), and ATU significantly influences BI (t-statistic = 5.059, p-value = 0). PU significantly affects BI (t-statistic = 5.875, p-value = 0), and BI positively influences AU (t-statistic = 8.898, p-value = 0). The hypothesis testing results indicate that most relationships between variables in the TAM are significant, with positive effects observed between PEU and PU, PEU and ATU, ATU and BI, as well as BI and AU. However, the relationship between PU and ATU was not significant, suggesting that Perceived Usefulness does not directly affect attitudes toward using the technology. These findings contribute to the development of policies and strategies to enhance the acceptance of navigation technology in the maritime sector.
