Abstract
Pulau Alor merupakan salah satu destinasi wisata bahari unggulan di Nusa Tenggara Timur, Indonesia, yang terkenal dengan keindahan Taman Laut Pantar. Wisata bawah laut di Pulau Alor umumnya hanya dapat dinikmati melalui aktivitas snorkeling atau diving, yang mana tidak semua wisatawan memiliki kemampuan atau sertifikasi untuk melakukannya. Oleh karena itu, dirancang kapal selam wisata yang dapat menjadi solusi untuk menikmati pesona bawah laut tanpa menyelam secara langsung. Tugas Akhir ini bertujuan untuk melakukan analisis teknis dan ekonomis dari desain kapal selam wisata yang dioperasikan di perairan Pulau Alor. Metodologi desain dilakukan secara konseptual dengan pendekatan perhitungan teknis seperti penentuan pola operasional, payload, hambatan kapal, kebutuhan volume pressure hull, daya motor, dan stabilitas kapal. Kapal selam wisata ini dirancang mampu menyelam hingga kedalaman 50 meter, dengan kapasitas 18 penumpang dan 2 crew. Ukuran utama kapal yang diperoleh adalah L = 10 meter, B = 3,2 meter, H = 4.7 meter, dan d= 3 meter. Material jendela menggunakan akrilik karena sifat transparan dan tahan tekan yang tinggi, serta material pressure hull menggunakan HY-80. Hasil desain diwujudkan dalam bentuk Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, dan model 3D. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ekonomis, kapal selam wisata ini dinyatakan layak dengan NPV sebesar Rp17,846,765,615, IRR sebesar 28%, dan Payback Period selama 8 Tahun 1 Bulan 2 Hari. Struktur pressure hull dirancang berbentuk silinder dengan diameter 3 meter dan ketebalan 30 mm, menggunakan material HY-80 untuk menjamin kekuatan terhadap tekanan laut pada kedalaman 50 m. Kapal selam wisata ini diharapkan dapat menjadi solusi untuk memperluas akses wisata bawah laut di Pulau Alor serta meningkatkan potensi pariwisata daerah.

Alor Island is one of the leading marine tourism destinations in East Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia, famous for the beauty of Pantar Marine Park. Underwater tourism on Alor Island is generally only accessible through snorkeling or diving activities, which not all tourists have the ability or certification to do. Therefore, a tourist submarine has been designed as a solution to enjoy the underwater charm without diving directly. This final project aims to conduct a technical and economic analysis of the design of a tourist submarine operated in the waters around Alor Island. The design methodology was conducted conceptually using technical calculations such as determining operational patterns, payload, vessel resistance, pressure hull volume requirements, engine power, and vessel stability. The tourist submarine is designed to dive to a depth of 50 meters, with a capacity of 18 passengers and 2 crew members. The main dimensions of the vessel are L = 10 meters, B = 3.2 meters, H = 4.7 meters, and d = 3 meters. The window material uses acrylic due to its high transparency and pressure resistance, while the pressure hull material uses HY-80. The design results are realized in the form of Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plan, and 3D model. Based on the economic analysis, this tourist submarine is deemed feasible with a Net Present Value (NPV) of Rp17,846,765,615, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 28%, and a Payback Period of 8 years, 1 month, and 2 days. The pressure hull structure is designed in a cylindrical shape with a diameter of 3 meters and a thickness of 30 mm, using HY-80 material to ensure strength against sea pressure at a depth of 50 meters. This tourist submarine is expected to become a solution for expanding access to underwater tourism in Alor Island and enhancing the region's tourism potential.
