Abstract

Kondisi kekurangan gizi pada balita akan mempengaruhi kesehatan dan umur harapan hidup yang merupakan salah satu unsur utarna dalam keberhasilan pembangunan negara (Human Development Index). Faktor penyebab teijadinya kekurangan gizi diduga berbeda-beda antar wilayah kabupatenlkota. GWLR merupakan bentuk lokal dari regresi logistik dimana faktor geografis dipertimbangkan. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa prosentase balita kurang gizi di Jawa Timur memiliki pola yang menyebar sehingga diindikasikan terdapat faktor spasial. Hasil analisis model GWLR dengan pembobot Adaptif Bisquare Kernel lebih baik karena mempunyai nilai AIC terkecil. Variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan menurunkan prevalensi balita kurang gizi di Jawa Timur yaitu prosentase balita yang mendapatkan vitamin A, persentase bayi yang mendapat ASI eksklusif, persentase penduduk yang menggunakan air bersih, persentase bayi yang mendapat imunisasi lengkap, dan persentase tenaga kesehatan. Analisis GWLR dengan menggunakan pembobot Adaptive Bisquare Kernel menghasilkan 10 kelompok daerah yang merniliki karakteristik sama. Masing-masing kabupatenlkota dalam kelompok ini relatif berdekatan satu dengan lainnya sehingga terdapat dependensi wilayah dalam kasus prevalensi balita kurang gizi di Jawa Timur

Malnutrition in toddlers will affect health and life expectancy, which are key elements in the success of national development (Human Development Index). The factors causing malnutrition are thought to vary across districts/cities. GWLR is a local form of logistic regression that takes geographical factors into account. The results of this study indicate that the percentage of malnourished toddlers in East Java has a widespread pattern, indicating the presence of spatial factors. The results of the GWLR model analysis using the Adaptive Bisquare Kernel weighting are better because it has the smallest AIC value. Variables that significantly influence the reduction in the prevalence of malnourished toddlers in East Java are the percentage of toddlers receiving vitamin A, the percentage of infants receiving exclusive breastfeeding, the percentage of the population using clean water, the percentage of infants receiving complete immunizations, and the percentage of health workers. The GWLR analysis using the Adaptive Bisquare Kernel weighting produces 10 regional groups with similar characteristics. Each district/city in this group is relatively close to one another, so there is regional dependency in the prevalence of malnourished toddlers in East Java
