Abstract
Tembakau Temanggung terkenal sebagai pemberi rasa dan aroma yang khas pada rokok kretek dan mempunyai kadar nikotin tertinggi. Telah banyak penelitian membahas mengenai produksi dan mutu tembakau Temanggung. Salah satunya adalah pemodelan produksi dan mutu tembakau Temanggung dengan metode OLS, dimana menunjukkan terjadi pelanggaran asumsi adanya multikolinearitas dan autokorelasi Penelitian ini membahas pengombinasian antara Generalized Least Square dan regresi ridge untuk mengatasi adanya autokorelasi sekaligus multikolinearitas pada pemodelan produksi dan mutu tembakau. Pendugaan nilai koefisien autokorelasi terlebih dahulu dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan Durbin Watson, AR(l) residual, serta Cochrane-Orcutt iterative procedure, kemudian dilakukan kombinasi dengan regresi ridge. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengombinasian antara Durbin Watson dan regresi ridge dapat mengatasi autokorelasi dan multikolinearitas pada pemodelan produksi. Namun pada pemodelan mutu, hanya mampu mengatasi multikolinearitas, sedangkan autokorelasi masih belum teratasi. Variabel yang berpengaruh terhadap produksi adalah persentase karbon organik, kalium, dan bobot isi tanah. Temanggung tobacco is known for its distinctive flavor and aroma in clove cigarettes and for its high nicotine content. Numerous studies have addressed the production and quality of Temanggung tobacco. One such study, modeling the production and quality of Temanggung tobacco using the OLS method, demonstrated violations of the assumptions of multicollinearity and autocorrelation. This study discusses the combination of Generalized Least Squares and ridge regression to address both autocorrelation and multicollinearity in tobacco production and quality modeling. Autocorrelation coefficients were first estimated using the Durbin-Watson approach, AR(l) residuals, and the Cochrane-Orcutt iterative procedure, followed by a combination with ridge regression. The results showed that the combination of Durbin-Watson and ridge regression could address autocorrelation and multicollinearity in production modeling. However, in quality modeling, it only addressed multicollinearity, while autocorrelation remained unresolved. Variables affecting production were the percentage of organic carbon, potassium, and soil bulk density.
