Abstract

Sistem kelistrikan yang terpasang pada suatu industri membutuhkan keandalan dan kontinuitas untuk menjamin terlaksananya proses produksi. Hal ini dikarenakan konsumsi energi listrik oleh bebanbebanindustri berlangsung secara terus menerus. Untuk menjamin keandalan dan kontinuitas tersebut diperlukan sistem pengaman tenaga listrik. Dalam suatu industri pasti terdapat suatu masalah yang berhubungan dengan sistem kelistrikannya. Hal utama yang paling sering terjadi yaitu gangguan hubung singkat dan gangguan satu fasa ke tanah.Namun dalam kenyataannya sampai saat ini, ternyata semua rele pengaman pada PT. Ajinomoto, Mojokerto tidak di setting sebagaimana mestinya sehingga sering terjadi gangguan yang menyebabkan terhentinya produksi di pabrik tersebut. Dari hasil setting eksisting, kesalahan pada setting rele rata-rata terdapat pada grading time antar rele.
Grading time pada rele melebihi standar IEEE 242 dimana grading time rele yaitu antara 0,2 s/d 0,4 s sedangkan untuk setting eksisting mencapai 1s ataupun lebih. Maka dari itu, pada tugas akhir ini, dilakukan setting kembali pada rele-rele yang sudah ada yaitu pada rele arus lebih. Dari hasil resetting ini grading time rele diubah sesuai dengan standar IEEE 242 yaitu antara 0,2 s/d 0,4 s dan time delay disesuaikan dengan standarnya sehingga rele tersebut dapat bekerja dengan benar. Hasil setting ini dapat dilihat pada plot TCC masing-masing rele. Diharapkan dengan setting ulang ini mampu mengamankan sistem kelistrikan di PT. Ajinomoto, Mojokerto

In an industry, there is certainly an issue that is associated with the electrical system. The main thing is most often the case that a short circuit interruption and phase to ground fault. But in fact until recently, apparently all relay PT. Ajinomoto, Mojokerto is not setting properly so that the common fault that cause the suspendsion of production at the factory. From the result of existing setting, error at setting relay on average grading time between relay. Grading time on relay exceeds IEEE 242 where grading time of relay between 0.2 s-0.4 s while for exsisting settings to achieve 1s or more. Therefore, in final project, done setting back on relays that already exist particularly in over current relay. From the result of this grading time resetting relay modified in accordance with IEEE 242 between 0.2-0.4 s and time delay adjusted by default so that the relay can work properly. The result of this can be seen in the setting of the plot each TCC rele. Expected with repeated setting back is capable of securing the electrical system in PT. Ajinomoto, Mojokerto.
