Abstract

Perkembangan internet saat ini menciptakan perubahan cara bekerja menjadi pekerja secara lepas atau gig. Generasi Z menjadi generasi yang paling tertarik untuk berpindah menjadi pekerja gig karena fleksibilitas jadwal, lokasi serta pilihan pekerjaan menyebabkan peningkatan pada pekerja freelance dalam perkembangan gig ekonomi. Serta gaya digital nomad karena fleksibiltas waktu dan tempat untuk bekerja. Di sisi lain terdapat pula dampak buruk yang ditimbulkan gig ekonomi yakni budaya bekerja berlebihan (hustle) yang berpengaruh terhadap burn out dan rendahnya kesehatan mental pekerja. Isu ini menjadi fokus dalam perancangan, dengan force based framework gaya hidup baru dalam bekerja dan kebutuhan Generasi Z menjadi force dalam perancangan dengan melakukan studi terhadap constraints dan assets dari Generasi Z. Tipologi hotel dan coworking dengan pendekatan biofilik yang dikolaborasikan dengan konsep lokalitas secara formasi, material yang diharapkan dapat menjadi upaya merespon kebutuhan Generasi Z sebagai digital nomad sehingga bangunan tidak hanya menjadi tempat yang nyaman bagi digital nomad Generasi Z untuk istirahat dan bekerja namun juga dapat menjadi tempat untuk melepaskan stres dan meningkatkan kualitas hidup.

The development of the internet today has created a change in the way of working to become a freelancer or gig worker. Generation Z is the generation that is most interested in moving into employment because schedules, locations and job choices lead to an increase in freelancers in economic development. As well as digital nomad style because of the flexibility of time and place to work. On the other hand, there are also negative impacts caused by the economy. culture of overwork namely hustle culture, culture that affects burnout and low mental health workers. This issue became the focus in the design, with a force based framework for a new lifestyle at work and the needs of Generation Z became the force in the design by conducting a study of the constraints and assets of Generation Z and their life style. Hotel and coworking typology with a biophilic approach in collaboration with the locality concept in formation, the material is expected to be an effort to respond to the needs of Generation Z as digital nomads so that the building is not only a comfortable place for Generation Z digital nomads to rest and work but can also be a place to stay. to release stress and improve quality of life.
