Abstract

Mental wellbeing is one of the most important aspects just like physical health. Departing from the issue of urban pressure that often occurs in big cities in Indonesia, the role of architecture is felt to contribute and has the duty to accommodate every human need. One of them is in providing a forum or space for dialogue or creating a space for discussion and contemplation while carrying out artistic activities. Based on research, museums are also able to provide a calm, inspiring, and safe place to explore emotions, culture and past experiences with art objects as a stimulus or trigger. The role of architecture in this design is also one of the crucial aspects where the quality of space in the design needs to be considered in order to realize a design that is able to provide an aspect of tranquility in it as well as integration between architecture and works of art. The site taken is the Jakarta City area, where people often have to struggle with high urban density and urban pressures where all aspects of life move faster. It's important to pause and the role of architecture in accommodating efforts to balance the life cycle. Architecture as Ephemeral Experience, through museum design that provides the experience of movement (movement) through activities and behavior. Moreoever, the light component is the shaper of the aesthetic experience of space. Calmness and contentmen as aspects of meeting the design criteria to be presented in the design composition.
