Abstract

Sesuai dengan tujuan pemerintah Kota Kediri saat ini yaitu melakukan upaya untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan bagi masyarakatnya, tentu hal tersebut memotivasi pemerintah Kota Kediri untuk memberikan pelayanan fasilitas pendidikan yang terbaik bagi masyarakat Kota Kediri dan sekitarnya. Saat ini, terdapat dua perguruan tinggi negeri yang ada di Kota Kediri antara lain Universitas Brawijaya dan PSDKU Polinema Kota Kediri yang merupakan bentuk usaha pemerintah Kota Kediri untuk meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Kota Kediri. PSDKU Polinema Kota Kediri merupakan anak cabang dari kampus Politeknik Negeri Malang (Polinema) dan merupakan sebuah langkah awal perubahan kampus swasta yang sebelumnya bernama Politeknik Kediri menjadi politeknik negeri yang memiliki berbagai macam program studi menarik untuk mengembangkan minat dan bakat mahasiswanya. Untuk dapat menarik minat calon mahasiswa menempuh pendidikan di PSDKU Polinema Kota Kediri, maka diperlukan optimalisasi sarana dan pra-sarana yang terdapat pada kampus PSDKU Polinema Kota Kediri. Hal ini dilakukan guna dapat meningkatkan potensi yang dimiliki calon mahasiswa dan sekaligus dapat menjadi bentuk langkah awal re-branding kampus menjadi kampus yang berbudaya dan berteknologi. Pada proses penelitian ini penulis menerapkan metode perancangan melalui identifikasi permasalahan pada eksisting dan melakukan studi kajian literatur dan pembanding. Disusun sebuah rancangan PSDKU Polinema Kota Kediri yang diharapkan mampu menjalankan tugas dan fungsinya secara maksimal sesuai dengan kebutuhan kampus dan pengunjungnya. Dengan menerapkan kearifan budaya lokal Kota Kediri, diharapkan mahasiswa, tenaga pendidik, serta calon mahasiswa dapat merasakan optimalisasi fasilitas yang telah ditingkatkan sehingga kenyamanan pengguna dapat dijalankan dengan lebih optimal. Hasil perancangan kampus berupa konsep desain dan aplikasinya dalam bentuk render 3D dan animasi.

The current goal of the Kediri City government, namely making efforts to improve the quality of education for its people, of course, motivates the Kediri City government to provide the best educational facilities for the people of Kediri City and its surroundings. Currently, there are two state universities in the City of Kediri, including the University of Brawijaya and the PSDKU Polinema of the City of Kediri which is a form of the Kediri City government's effort to improve the quality of education in the City of Kediri. PSDKU Polinema Kediri City is a branch of the Malang State Polytechnic (Polinema) campus and is the first step in changing the private campus which was previously called Kediri Polytechnic into a state polytechnic which has a variety of interesting study programs to develop the interests and talents of its students. To be able to attract prospective students to study at the Kediri City PSDKU Polinema, it is necessary to optimize the facilities and infrastructure available on the Kediri City PSDKU Polinema campus. This is done to increase the potential of prospective students and at the same time can be the first step for re-branding the campus into a cultured and technological campus. In the process of this research, the author applies the design method by identifying existing problems and conducting a literature review and comparison, a draft PSDKU Polinema Kediri City is prepared which is expected to be able to carry out its duties and functions optimally according to the needs of the campus and its visitors. By applying the local cultural wisdom of the City of Kediri, it is hoped that students, educators, and prospective students can feel the optimization of the facilities that have been improved so that user comfort can be carried out more optimally. The results of the campus design are in the form of design concepts and their applications in the form of 3D rendering and animation.
