Abstract

Rencana pemindahan Ibu Kota Negara oleh Presiden Republik Indonesia, Joko Widodo ke Provinsi Kalimantan Timur tepatnya Kabupaten Kutai Kartanegara dan Panajem Paser Utara tertuang pada Rencana Pembangunan Jangka Menengah Nasional (RPJMN) tahun 2020-2024.Pemindahan dan pembangunan Ibu Kota Negara Baru akan dibagi dalam beberapa tahap termasuk pariwisata. Dalam Rapat Kerja MENPAREKRAF/BEPAREKRAF destinasi pariwisata Kalimantan Timur yaitu Kepulauan Derawan, Kabupaten Berau, yang terdiri dari salah satunya Pulau Maratua masuk menjadi lokasi prioritas DAK Bidang Pariwisata.Pulau Maratua dengan daratannya seluas 384,36 km2 dan lautnya 3.735,18 km2 dikenal sebagai tempat wisata bahari yang menampilkan keindahan pantai, aneka biota laut dengan bermacam jenis ikan, penyu, dan keindahan bawah laut berupa terumbu karang yang sangat menarik. Sangat disayangkan, faktanya kondisi pariwisata di pulau maratua belum optimal. Seperti kurangnya kebutuhan sayur mayur, daging dll susah didapatkan (Djemar, Kelapa Homestay Teluk Harapan, 2016). Sisi yang lain, perkembangan pola pikir masyarakat masih belum berorientasi pada pariwisata sebagai pendapatan ekonomi dikarenakan belum dirasakan secara langsung oleh masyarakat. Tujuan Tugas Akhir ini ialah mendesain interior Resort di Pulau Maratua sebagai destinasi wisata unggulan Ibu Kota Negara Baru dengan pendekatan lingkungan bina yaitu berbasis lokalitas pada aspek sosial, lingkungan, kebudayaan, dan ekonomi, pemanfaatan potensi dari sumber daya alam khususnya tanaman lamun dan kelapa sebagai eksplorasi material elemen interior dan sumber daya manusia. Pendekatan ini sebagai upaya optimalisasi sustainable tourism yang diharapkan dapat menjadi destinasi wisata unggulan Ibu Kota Negara Baru.

The plan for relocating the State Capital by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo to the Province of East Kalimantan, precisely in the Regencies of Kutai Kartanegara and Panajem Paser Utara, is contained in the National Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMN) for 2020-2024. The relocation and construction of the New State Capital will be divided into several stages including tourism. In the Working Meeting of MENPAREKRAF/BEPAREKRAF, East Kalimantan's tourism destinations, namely the Derawan Islands, Berau Regency, consisting of one of them Maratua Island, became a priority location for the DAK in the Tourism Sector. Maratua Island with its land area of 384.36 km2 and sea of 3,735.18 km2 is known as a marine tourism spot that displays beautiful beaches, various marine life with various types of fish, turtles, and underwater beauty in the form of coral reefs which are very interesting. It is unfortunate, in fact the condition of tourism on the island of Maratua is not yet optimal. Such as the lack of need for vegetables, meat, etc. are difficult to obtain (Djemar, Kelapa Homestay Teluk Harapan, 2016). On the other hand, the development of the community's mindset is still not oriented towards tourism as an economic income because it has not been felt directly by the community. The purpose of this Final Project is to design the interior of a Resort on Maratua Island as a leading tourist destination for the New Capital City with a built environment approach that is based on locality in social, environmental, cultural, and economic aspects, exploiting the potential of natural resources, especially seagrass and coconut plants as exploration. interior elements and human resources. This approach is an effort to optimize sustainable tourism which is expected to become a leading tourist destination for the New Capital City.
