Abstract

Seiring berkembangnya zaman, kebutuhan akan teknologi, rekreasi, hingga ekonomi semakin meningkat, oleh karena itu diperlukan kawasan atau bangunan multifungsi yang dapat memenuhi segala kebutuhan. Kota Klaten merupakan salah satu kota yang ingin mewujudkan adanya wilayah terpadu sebagai pusat kota, dengan menjadikan terminal sebagai Mix Used Building, maka fungsi terminal sebagai kawasan terpadu akan tercapai. Terminal Ir. Soekarno adalah terminal tipe A yang memiliki potensi besar sebagai bangunan dengan fungsi beraneka ragam. Latar belakang Kota Klaten yang mana didominasi oleh pedagang dan pusat rekreasi menjadi landasan untuk pembangunan terminal berkonsep Mix Used Building. Selain itu, nuansa Modern Eco Interior juga cocok diterapkan dalam perancangan terminal sebagai bentuk rasa peduli terhadap lingkungan. Konsep Modern Eco Interior ini sesuai dengan salah satu tujuan Sustainable Development Goals dimana tujuannya adalah menghemat penggunaan energi. Desain interior akan berperan penting dalam perancangan bangunan Terminal Ir. Soekarno Klaten dan desain interior dapat memaksimalkan potensi bangunan yang ada. Sehingga diharapkan dapat memberi efek langsung dalam mempengaruhi peningkatan minat masyrakat dan wisatawan untuk berkunjung.

Along with the development of the times, the need for technology, recreation, to the economy is increasing, therefore a multifunctional area or building is needed that can meet all needs. Klaten City is one of the cities that wants to realize an integrated area as a city center, by making the terminal as a Mix Used Building, the function of the terminal as an integrated area will be achieved. Terminals Ir. Soekarno is a type A terminal that has great potential as a building with various functions. The background of Klaten City, which is dominated by traders and recreation centers, is the basis for the construction of a terminal with the concept of a Mix Used Building. In addition, the nuances of Modern Eco Interior are also suitable to be applied in terminal design as a form of caring for the environment. The concept of Modern Eco Interior is in accordance with one of the Sustainable Development Goals where the goal is to save energy use. Interior design will play an important role in the design of the Terminal Ir. Soekarno Klaten and interior design can maximize the potential of existing buildings. So that it is expected to have a direct effect in influencing the increase in public interest and tourists to visit.
