Abstract

Berangkat dari konsep ketahanan ekonomi, dengan arsitektur sebagai penggerak roda ekonominya, dimana untuk bisa mencapai ketahanan, arsitektur tidak hanya berfungsi sebagai wadah aktivitas, tapi juga bagaimana arsitektur memiliki kemampuan untuk bisa merespon dan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan kebutuhan masyarakat sekarang yang sudah berubah. Studi kasus yang diambil berada di Kota Pontianak tepatnya daerah pesisir Sungai Kapuas, Kampung Benua Laut, Pontianak Selatan. Yang disoroti adalah permasalahan pada Gertak atau jalan apung di daerah pesisir. Gertak adalah bentuk arsitektur yang lahir dari jati diri Kota Pontianak. Tidak heran Gertak seakan sudah menjadi satu bagian dengan kehidupan masyarakat pesisir Sungai Kapuas. Gertak kembali menghidupkan budaya masyarakat yang sudah mulai tergerus jaman. Selain itu roda perekonomian juga ikut bergerak dengan menarik orang- orang untuk datang. Jika dulu Gertak hanya digunakan masyarakat sebagai sekeder infrastruktur jalan, dan sungai sebagai area berjualannya, namun sekarang sungai mulai ditinggalkan karena sudah tidak efisien dan murah lagi, semua bergerak ke darat dan Gertak menjadi wadah aktivitas ekonomi dan sekaligus aksesibilitas masyarakat. Bertambahnya aktivitas dan jumlah pengguna serta berubahnya kebiasaan masyarakat pesisir pada Gertak menimbulkan beberapa permasalahan, mulai dari ruang aktivitas sosial yang semakin sempit, aksesibilitas terhambat, dan akses view ke sungai yang terhalang. Dengan demikian Gertak tidak lagi merespon perubahan dan kebiasaan penggunanya sekarang. Bentuk Gertak yang hadir sekarang sudah tidak lagi relevan dan perlu adanya redesain Gertak. Jadi yang akan di eksplorasi dalam rancangan kali ini adalah Gertak itu sendiri. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah Urban Resilience dengan Framework Force Base. Kemudian digunakan metode Segmenting untuk penggalian data dan Arsitektur Narasi untuk generate form yang menggunakan dua konsep narasi yakni penambahan layer dan skenario baru. Bentuk desain ulang didapat dari layer baru yang merupakan bentuk dari sosial ekonomi masyarakat pesisir Sungai Kapuas yang sekarang. Jika sebelumnya kondisi Gertak yang lama belum mampu untuk merespon perubahan kebiasaan dan pertambahan aktivitas sosial ekonomi di daerah pesisir, maka dengan perancangan ini diharapkan dapat menjadi jawaban dengan menghadirkan bentuk arsitektur bentuk yang lahir dari jati diri masyarakat pesisir Sungai Kapuas itu sendiri. Sehingga ketahanan ekonomi masyarakat dapat di bangun ke arah yang lebih baik.

Departing from the concept of economic resilience, with architecture as the driving force of the economy, where in order to achieve resilience, architecture does not only function as a forum for activity, but also how architecture has the ability to respond and adapt to the changing needs of today's society. The case study was taken in Pontianak City, precisely in the coastal area of the Kapuas River, Kampung Benua Laut, South Pontianak. What is highlighted is the problem with Gertak or floating roads in coastal areas. Gertak is an architectural form that was born from the identity of the city of Pontianak. No wonder Gertak seems to have become a part of the lives of the coastal communities of the Kapuas River. Snapping back to revive the culture of society that has begun to be eroded by time. In addition, the wheels of the economy also move by attracting people to come. In the past, Gertak was only used by the community as a secondary road infrastructure, and the river as a selling area, but now the river is starting to be abandoned because it is no longer efficient and cheap, everything moves to land and Gertak becomes a place for economic activity as well as community accessibility. The increasing activity and number of users as well as changing habits of coastal communities in Gertak raises several problems, starting from the increasingly narrow space for social activities, hampered accessibility, and obstructed view access to the river. Thus Gertak no longer responds to changes and habits of its current users. The current form of Gertak is no longer relevant and there is a need for a redesign of Gertak. So what will be explored in this design is Gertak itself. The approach used is Urban Resilience with Force Base Framework. Then the Segmenting method is used to extract data and the Narrative Architecture to generate forms that use two narrative concepts, namely adding layers and new scenarios. The redesign form is obtained from the new layer which is a form of the current socio-economic form of the Kapuas River coastal community. If previously the condition of the old Gertak had not been able to respond to changes in habits and the increase in socio-economic activities in the coastal area, then this design is expected to be the answer by presenting architectural forms that were born from the identity of the coastal community of the Kapuas River itself. So that the community's economic resilience can be built in a better direction.
