Abstract
Kelapa merupakan jenis tanaman tropis yang sudah sejak lama dikenal manusia. Banyak industri kecil atau industri rumahan yang mulai mengembangkan bisnis pengolahan kelapa ini karena dinilai sangat menguntungkan. Perancangan dan pembuatan mesin pemarut kelapa ini ditunjukkan untuk mempermudah proses pemarutan kelapa dan mempersingkat waktu produksi. Pembuatan mesin pemarut kelapa ini dilakukan dari survey lapangan kemudian dilanjutkan dengan study literature dan skeet mesin. Selanjutnya dilakukan perhitungan. pengadaan alat dan perakitan. Setelah dilakukan perakitan kemudian dilakukan ujj coba kelayakan pada mesin pemarut kelapa. Berdasarkan basil perancangan dan perhitungan diperoleh hasil prototype mesin pemarut kelapa yang memiliki sepesifikasi sebagai berikut : Motor penggerak yang dipakai berupa motor listrik dengan daya 0,5 Hp dan putaran l400rpm. Bahan pulley yang dipergunakan adalah aluminium alloy dengan diameter pulley penggerak 101,6 mm dan diameter pulley yang digerakkan 63,5 mm. Type belt yang dipergunakan adalah V -belt A dengan bahan belt adalah sold-woven cotton. Poros yang dipergunakan dari baja karbon AISI 1010 dengan diameter 20 mm dan panjang poros 210 mm. Pasak yang dipergunakan dari baja karbon AISI 1010 dengan panjang pasak 3,5 em dan Iebar pasak 0,7 em. Dari hasil pengujian didapatkan rata - rata kapasitas sebesar ± 33 kg/jam

Coconut is a type of tropical plant that has long been known to humans. Many small industries or home industries have begun to develop this coconut processing business because it is considered very profitable. The design and manufacture of this coconut grater machine is intended to simplify the coconut grating process and shorten production time. The manufacture of this coconut grater machine was carried out from a field survey then continued with a literature study and machine sketch. Next, calculations were carried out, procurement of tools and assembly. After assembly, a feasibility test was carried out on the coconut grater machine. Based on the design and calculation results, a prototype of a coconut grater machine was obtained which has the following specifications: The driving motor used is an electric motor with a power of 0.5 Hp and a rotation of 1400 rpm. The pulley material used is aluminum alloy with a drive pulley diameter of 101.6 mm and a driven pulley diameter of 63.5 mm. The type of belt used is V-belt A with the belt material being sold-woven cotton. The shaft used is made of AISI 1010 carbon steel with a diameter of 20 mm and a shaft length of 210 mm. The dowels used are made of AISI 1010 carbon steel with a dowel length of 3.5 cm and a dowel width of 0.7 cm. The test results show an average capacity of ± 33 kg/hour
