Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dengan cenderung memiliki permasalahan terkait dengan pemerataan pembangunan, khususnya pembangunan di daerah kepulauan. Pembangunan pembangkit listrik yang membutuhkan waktu relatif lama, yaitu 3 sampai dengan 5 tahun. Salah satu upaya untuk mempercepat penyediaan listrik tersebut adalah membangun kapal pembangkit. Tujuan Tugas Akhir ini adalah membuat desain kapal pembangkit listrik dalam bentuk Motor Vessel Power Plant(MVPP) yang menggunakan Gas Turbine berbahan bakar LNG dengan fasilitas trafo 70 KV untuk memenuhi listrik di perairan Indonesia dengan kebutuhan daya sebesar 15.8 MW. Setelah dilakukan perhitungan teknis berupa perhitungan berat, displacement, trim, freeboard, dan stabilitas, ukuran utama yang diperoleh adalah LPP = 72.3 m; B = 14.4 m; H = 7.4 m; T = 5.2 m. Berdasarkan data tersebut, penulis merancang Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plant dan 3D model.

Indonesia is an archipelago country which tends to have problems related to equitable development, especially the development in archipelago areas. The construction of power plants takes a relatively long time, which is 3 to 5 years. One of the efforts to accelerate the supply of electricity is to build power plants. Hence, the final project aims to design marine vessel power plant and its type is Motor Vessel Power Plant (MVPP) with LNG-fuelled Gas Turbine Engine and 70 KV Transformer with power 15.8 MW to supply electricity in Indonesian water. After finishing the technical calculations such as payload, displacement, trim, freeboard, and stability, the main dimension of barge is LPP = 72.3 m; B = 14.4 m; H = 7.4 m; T = 5.2 m. Based on this data, the author designed Lines Plan, General Arrangement, Safety Plant and 3D model.
