Abstract
Struktur lepas pantai didefinisikan sebagai setiap struktur yang tetap pada tempatnya dan memanjang di atas atau di bawah permukaan laut. Meskipun ada banyak literatur tentang struktur lepas pantai, tugas akhir ini akan banyak berbicara tentang model lepas pantai yang disimulasikan dan tes air untuk memeriksa apakah desain mampu mempertahankan sarat yang dirancang. Dalam tugas ini, penulis memutuskan untuk tidak mengungkapkan lokasi kemungkinan pemasangan struktur lepas pantai. Adapun bahannya adalah akrilik (densitas = 1,18 g/cc, perbandingan Poisson = 0,370, Modulus Young = 2,76 GPa) dan Polietilena bermassa jenis rendah (densitas = 0,91 g/cc, modulus Young = 1,08 GPa). Dalam tugas akhir ini, terdapat beberapa kendala yang diterapkan terhadap objek dari pihak universitas. Model dibangun kedap udara dan kedap air, serta telah terbukti mampu menyelesaikan kendala. Dimensi utama adalah 29 cm x 29 cm x 29 cm. Total biaya untuk pembangunan proyek model lepas pantai ini sekitar KRW.1.153.500 atau sekitar Rp. 14.000.000,-

An offshore structure is defined as any structure that is fixed in place and extends above or below the surface of the sea. While there is a lot of literature on offshore structures, this final project would mainly talk about the simulated offshore model and basin test to check to see if the design is able to maintain the designed draft. In this final project, the author decided to not disclose the location of possible installation of the offshore structures. As for the material they are acrylic (density = 1.18 g/cc, Poisson’s Ratio = 0.370, Modulus Young = 2.76 GPa) and Polyethylene Low Density (densitiy = 0.91 g/cc, modulus Young = 1.08 GPa). In this final project, there are some constraints placed to the object from the university. The model is constructed to be airtight and watertight and has been proven to able comply the constraints. The main dimension is 29 cm x 29 cm x 29 cm in total. The total cost for the construction of the offshore model project is around KRW.1,153,500 or around Rp. 14,000,000.-
