Abstract

Alat peraga edukatif merupakan alat yang digunakan untuk membantu memperjelas materi pembelajaran, serta memotivasi dan merangsang anak untuk bereksplorasi dan bereksperimen. Selain untuk anak, alat peraga edukatif juga dapat digunakan sebagai alat bantu guru dalam menyampaikan materi yang akan diajarkan. Yang menjadi fokus dalam perancangan ini adalah alat peraga edukatif untuk pembelajaran manasik haji dan umrah. Hal ini bertujuan untuk mengenalkan anak terkait prosesi ibadah haji tanpa perlu melakukan simulasi di luar ruangan. Meskipun teknik simulasi dinilai cukup efektif dalam memahamkan anak terkait prosesi ibadah haji, namun teknik ini memakan biaya yang tidak sedikit. Diperlukan properti pelengkap seperti miniatur kabah, baju ihram, serta tempat pelaksanaan yang cenderung terbatas. Umumnya, pelaksanaan simulasi haji pada TK-TK di Indonesia dilaksanakan setahun sekali. Maka dengan melihat peluang ini, perlu dibuat sebuah alat peraga yang mampu mengenalkan anak terkait urutan ibadah haji dan bacaanbacaan doanya serta adab-adab selama didalam perjalanan, yang juga dapat membangun jiwa kompetisi dan kemampuan sosial anak sehingga anak dapat belajar secara fleksibel, bersama siapapun dan mampu memahami prosesi ibadah secara komprehensif.

Educational toys are tools used to help student to explain the subject, as well as motivate and develop children to explore and experiment. In addition to children, educational toys can also be used as a teacher's tool in delivering the material to be taught. The focus in this design is educational toys for learning the rituals of Hajj and Umrah. This aims to introduce children to the procession of the pilgrimage without the need for simulations outside the room. Although the simulation practice is quite effective in understanding students regarding the pilgrimage procession, this simulation requires no small amount of money, complementary properties such as the Kaaba miniature, Ihram clothes, and a limited place of execution. Generally, the implementation of hajj simulations in kindergartens in Indonesia is carried out once a year. By seeing this opportunity, it is necessary to make an educational toy that is able to introduce children to the sequence of the pilgrimage, the reading of its prayers, and the etiquette during the trip, which can also build the spirit of competition and social skills of children so that children can learn flexibly, with anyone and able to understand procession of the pilgrimage comprehensively.
