Abstract
Perkembangan teknologi komputer sekarang ini didukung perangkat lunak yang mendukung dari pengerjaan dari pengguna atau user. Penggunaan perangkat lunak membantu pengguna dari komputer dalam mempercepat suatu pekerjaan. AI (Artifical Intelligence) merupakan salah satu bidang ilmu dalam komputeryang tujuannya membantu manusia dalam menyelesaikan berbagai permasalahan didalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Keberlangsungan dan keberhasilan di dalam pengaturan lalulintas pelabuhan tergantung pada skill dari ndividu yang dipekerjakan untuk menangani lalu-lintas pelabuhan. Sebagian skill yang dimiliki oleh pegawai atau spesialis tersebut bisa berasal dari pelatihan dan pembelajaran melalui kursus I jenjang pendidikan, buku-buku, dan manual, banyak juga dari pegawai I tenaga ahli tersebut mendapatkan skill yang dimiliki melalui pengalaman-pangalaman dilapangan. Sistem pakar digunakan untuk meningkatkan kinerja lalu-lintas antar kapal yang berada dipelabuhan Tj perak surabaya. Selain itu, perancanaan sistem pakar ini juga diharapkan dapat memecahkan permasalahan di bidang transportasi lalu-lintas pelabuhan

The development of computer technology today is supported by software that supports user work. The use of software helps computer users speed up work. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is a field of computer science that aims to help humans solve various problems in everyday life. The sustainability and success of port traffic management depend on the skills of the individuals employed to handle port traffic. Some of the skills possessed by these employees or specialists can come from training and learning through educational courses, books, and manuals, while many of these employees and experts gain their skills through field experiences. Expert systems are used to improve the performance of traffic between ships at the Tj Perak port in Surabaya. In addition, the design of this expert system is also expected to solve problems in the field of port traffic transportation
