Abstract
Sektor pertanian jagung di Indonesia menghadapi tantangan serangan hama yang intensif, terutama pada kondisi iklim tropis dengan curah hujan tinggi. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penggunaan pestisida berbasis air (water-based) seperti Kayabas 555 SC produksi PT Petrokimia Kayaku Gresik menjadi solusi vital. Kualitas produk ini sangat ditentukan oleh dua variabel kritis yang saling berhubungan, yaitu kadar aktif dan ukuran partikel, di mana ukuran partikel yang lebih kecil dapat meningkatkan efisiensi ekstraksi dan efektivitas senyawa aktif. Sistem pemantauan mutu saat ini hanya sebatas uji laboratorium tanpa penerapan peta kendali statistik. Suatu proses dalam kendali statistik belum tentu memenuhi spesifikasi, jadi diperlukan analisis kapabilias proses untuk memantau stabilitas proses produksi secara berkelanjutan menggunakan metode multivariat yang diterapkan meliputi penggunaan peta Generalized Variance digunakan untuk mendeteksi perubahan dalam varians dan kovarians antar variabel, sedangkan peta kendali multivariat T2 Hotelling memperhitungkan nilai rata-rata untuk memantau stabilitas proses secara keseluruhan. Selain itu, analisis kapabilitas proses dilakukan untuk mengukur kemampuan proses dalam memenuhi spesifikasi, dilengkapi dengan diagram sebab-akibat untuk mengidentifikasi akar permasalahan produksi. Hasil analisis Fase I (Januari–Maret 2025) dan fase II (April-Juni 2025) terkendali dan kapabel, tetapi terjadi penurunan kapabilitas dari Fase I (Mcp sebesar 2,32 dan Mcpk sebesar 1,95) ke Fase II (Mcp sebesar 2,20 dan Mcpk sebesar 1,85). Analisis sebab-akibat mengidentifikasi akar masalah penurunan tersebut pada lima faktor utama: metode (kesalahan parameter), material (kualitas baku), mesin (keausan), manusia (kurang skill), dan lingkungan (kelembapan)

The corn farming sector in Indonesia faces the challenge of intensive pest attacks, especially in tropical climates with high rainfall. To overcome this, the use of water-based pesticides such as Kayabas 555 SC produced by PT Petrokimia Kayaku Gresik is a vital solution. The quality of this product is largely determined by two critical interrelated variables: active content and particle size, where smaller particle size can increase extraction efficiency and the effectiveness of active compounds. The current quality monitoring system is limited to laboratory tests without the application of statistical control charts. A process in statistical control does not necessarily meet specifications, so process capability analysis is needed to monitor the stability of the production process continuously using multivariate methods. The applied method includes the use of Generalized Variance charts used to detect changes in variance and covariance between variables, while the T2 Hotelling multivariate control chart calculates the average value to monitor the overall process stability. In addition, process capability analysis is conducted to measure the process's ability to meet specifications, complemented by cause-and-effect diagrams to identify the root causes of production problems. The analysis results of Phase I (January–March 2025) and Phase II (April–June 2025) were controlled and capable, but there was a decrease in capability from Phase I (Mcp of 2.32 and Mcpk of 1.95) to Phase II (Mcp of 2.20 and Mcpk of 1.85). The causal analysis identified the root causes of the decline in five main factors: method (parameter error), material (raw material quality), machine (wear and tear), human (lack of skill), and environment (humidity)
