Abstract
Departemen Teknik Lingkungan ITS merupakan instansi yang mendukung pengembangan perangkat lunak ketelusuran sampah (WasteTrack). Sistem WasteTrack dikembangkan guna mendorong transformasi digital pencatatan sampah secara nasional. Produk yang dikerjakan dalam kerja praktik ini adalah perancangan dan implementasi backend serta infrastruktur sistem pada WasteTrack. Sistem backend dibangun menggunakan bahasa pemrograman Golang dan basis data PostgreSQL untuk memastikan pengelolaan data yang andal dan terstruktur. Infrastruktur sistem memanfaatkan NGINX sebagai web server dan reverse proxy, serta Cloudflare untuk pengelolaan DNS dan keamanan layanan. Selain itu, diterapkan monitoring menggunakan Prometheus dan Grafana, serta mekanisme pencadangan basis data harian. Hasil implementasi ini menyediakan backend dan infrastruktur yang stabil serta mendukung operasional sistem WasteTrack secara berkelanjutan.

The Department of Environmental Engineering at ITS is an institution that supports the development of the WasteTrack waste traceability software. The WasteTrack system was developed to promote the national digital transformation of waste recording and management. The product developed during this internship focuses on the design and implementation of the backend system and supporting infrastructure for WasteTrack. The backend system is built using the Golang programming language and PostgreSQL as the database to ensure reliable and well-structured data management. The system infrastructure utilizes NGINX as a web server and reverse proxy, along with Cloudflare for DNS management and service security. In addition, system monitoring is implemented using Prometheus and Grafana, complemented by a daily database backup mechanism. The results of this implementation provide a stable backend and infrastructure that support the sustainable operation of the WasteTrack system.
