Abstract

Kerja Praktik ini berfokus pada perombakan (revamp) halaman utama situs web Project Based Internship (PBI) milik PT. Teknologi Edukasi Indonesia (Luarsekolah). Masalah utama yang teridentifikasi adalah tingginya hambatan (friction) yang dialami oleh target audiens (mahasiswa berusia 18-24 tahun), yang menyebabkan mereka meninggalkan situs web dengan cepat karena kurangnya kepercayaan seketika dan persepsi bahwa proses onboarding terlalu rumit. Proyek ini bertujuan untuk mendesain ulang antarmuka agar lebih relevan, membangun kredibilitas melalui profil mentor dan prospek karier yang transparan, serta menyederhanakan alur pendaftaran. Pengembangan dilakukan menggunakan Framework Laravel untuk menciptakan pengalaman pengguna yang responsif dan informatif. Fitur-fitur utama yang diimplementasikan meliputi bagian hero dengan spanduk promosi, slider profil mentor yang ringkas, video testimoni alumni, dan peta jalan karier visual. Hasilnya adalah antarmuka baru yang dirancang untuk mengurangi kecemasan pengguna dan meningkatkan tingkat konversi dengan menyajikan informasi yang jelas dan terpercaya

This practical work focuses on the homepage revamp of the Project Based Internship (PBI) website owned by PT. Teknologi Edukasi Indonesia (Luarsekolah). The primary problem identified is the high friction experienced by the target audience (students aged 18-24), causing them to quickly leave the website due to a lack of instant trust and a perceived complicated onboarding process. This project aims to redesign the interface to be more relevant, build credibility through transparent mentor profiles and career prospects, and simplify the registration flow. The development was carried out using the Laravel Framework to create a responsive and informative user experience. Key features implemented include a hero section with promotional banners, a concise mentor profile slider, alumni video testimonials, and a visual career roadmap. The result is a revamped interface designed to reduce user anxiety and increase conversion rates by providing clear and trustworthy information.
