Abstract
Keterbatasan visibilitas aset TI dan tidak tersedianya repositori terpusat yang mampu memetakan relasi antar perangkat menjadi tantangan utama dalam pengelolaan infrastruktur TI di Star Energy Geothermal (SEG). Kondisi tersebut berdampak pada efektivitas operasional, akurasi data inventaris, serta kemampuan tim TI dalam merespons insiden dan perubahan konfigurasi. Penelitian ini merancang dan mengimplementasikan Configuration Management Database (CMDB) berbasis GLPI sebagai solusi untuk meningkatkan transparansi dan tata kelola aset TI di lingkungan perusahaan. Pendekatan penelitian mencakup lima tahapan: analisis kebutuhan, perancangan struktur CMDB, implementasi dan migrasi data, pemodelan relasi Configuration Items (CI), serta validasi. Migrasi dilakukan dari Snipe-IT menggunakan plugin Data Injection, sementara fitur GLPI seperti pemodelan CI, impact analysis, dan workflow ticketing disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan operasional SEG. Proses ini didukung observasi lapangan, wawancara, serta analisis dokumentasi aset perusahaan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi CMDB berbasis GLPI mampu menyediakan repositori aset TI yang terpusat dan terstandarisasi, memodelkan relasi antar Configuration Items (CI) secara terstruktur, mendukung impact analysis sesuai praktik Service Configuration Management dalam ITIL 4 melalui visualisasi dependensi aset, serta terintegrasi dengan fitur ITSM seperti ticketing dan workflow sehingga layak dimanfaatkan sebagai solusi CMDB open-source yang aplikatif untuk mendukung tata kelola aset TI dan kesiapan penerapan ITSM pada lingkungan industri energi di Indonesia.

The limited visibility of IT assets and the absence of a centralized repository for mapping relationships among configuration items have become major challenges in the IT Infrastructure division of Star Energy Geothermal (SEG). These gaps hinder operational efficiency and complicate risk management. This study addresses the issue by designing and implementing a Configuration Management Database (CMDB) using the open-source platform GLPI to enhance transparency and governance of IT assets. The research employs a five-stage methodology consisting of requirement analysis, CMDB design, system implementation and data migration, CI modeling, and validation. Data from Snipe-IT were extracted, cleaned, and migrated using the Data Injection plugin, while GLPI features such as CI structuring, impact analysis, and basic ITSM workflows were configured to align with SEG’s operational needs. The methodology is supported by field observations, semi-structured interviews, and documentation analysis. The results show that the implementation of a GLPI-based CMDB is able to provide a centralized and standardized IT asset repository, model relationships among Configuration Items (CIs) in a structured manner, support impact analysis in accordance with ITIL 4 Service Configuration Management practices through asset dependency visualization, and integrate with ITSM features such as ticketing and workflows, making it a viable and practical open-source CMDB solution to support IT asset governance and readiness for ITSM implementation in the Indonesian energy industry.
