Abstract

Sektor pertambangan di Indonesia terus berkembang, hal ini berdampak pada meningkatnya permintaan alat berat untuk operasional perusahaan. PT X sebagai kontraktor pertambangan yang menggunakan alat berat dalam operasionalnya menghadapi permasalahan dalam manajemen inventaris alat berat bekas yang jumlahnya ratusan unit tetapi masih memiliki nilai ekonomis potensial. Permasalahan utamanya terkait keterbatasan aksesibilitas data, data yang tidak selalu diperbarui, rendahnya akurasi dan transparansi data, kompleksitas struktur data di berbagai file Excel dan proses administrasi dokumen disposed yang masih manual. Permasalahan ini berpotensi menurunkan efisiensi inventaris alat berat bekas serta meningkatkan risiko keputusan yang kurang akurat dan tepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan prototipe sistem informasi inventaris alat berat bekas berbasis web untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas, akurasi, transparansi serta efisiensi pembaruan data secara real-time. Data yang digunakan merupakan data inventaris alat berat PT X dari 2010 hingga 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode design thinking untuk memahami permasalahan dan kebutuhan pengguna, merancang solusi yang tepat, dan menguji efektivitas prototipe yang dikembangkan, dimulai dari empathize menggunakan wawancara dan observasi untuk memahami permasalahan pengguna, yang diperkuat dengan analisis SCOPES dan activity system mapping, kemudian define menggunakan affinity diagram, point of view dan how might we, pada ideate peneliti menggunakan SCAMPER dan matriks prioritas untuk memilih 15 quick wins, dilanjutkan pembuatan hight-fidelity prototype, dan testing prototipe menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS). Hasil penelitian berupa high-fidelity prototipe sistem informasi inventaris alat berat bekas berbasis web yang mengintegrasikan berbagai fitur seperti digital checklist, dashboard monitoring status unit, digital map yard dan e-approval dokumen disposed. Pengujian prototipe sistem informasi menggunakan System Usability Scale (SUS) pada tujuh responden menunjukkan skor 74,29 yang berarti good usability dan acceptable oleh pengguna. Dengan adanya fitur e-approval dokumen disposed dan dashboard monitoring status unit, penelitian ini memberikan manfaat dalam meningkatkan efisiensi inventaris alat berat bekas serta mendukung pengambilan keputusan strategis lebih cepat, akurat, dan transparan dalam manajemen aset.

The mining sector in Indonesia continues to grow, resulting in increased demand for heavy equipment in company operations. PT X, as a mining contractor that utilizes heavy equipment in its operations, encounters problems in managing its inventory of used heavy equipment, which numbers in the hundreds but still has potential economic value. The main problems are related to limited data accessibility, outdated data, low data accuracy and transparency, the complexity of data structures in various Excel files, and manual document disposal processes. These problems have the potential to reduce the efficiency of used heavy equipment inventory and increase the risk of inaccurate and inappropriate decisions. This study aims to develop a prototype of a web-based used heavy equipment inventory information system to improve accessibility, accuracy, transparency, and efficiency of real-time data updates. The data used is PT X heavy equipment inventory data from 2010 to 2024. This study uses the design thinking method to understand user problems and needs, design appropriate solutions, and test the effectiveness of the developed prototype, starting with empathize using interviews and observations to understand user problems, reinforced with SCOPES analysis and activity system mapping. Then define using affinity diagrams, point of view, and how might we. In ideate, the researchers used SCAMPER and a priority matrix to select 15 quick wins, followed by the creation of a high-fidelity prototype and prototype testing using the System Usability Scale (SUS). The expected outcome of this research is a high-fidelity prototype of a web-based used heavy equipment inventory information system that integrates various features such as a digital checklist, unit status monitoring dashboard, digital yard map, and e-approval of disposed documents. Testing of the information system prototype using the System Usability Scale (SUS) on seven respondents showed a score of 74.29, which means it is good usability and acceptable to users. With features such as e-approval of disposed documents and the unit status monitoring dashboard, this research provides benefits in improving the efficiency of used heavy equipment inventory and supports faster, more accurate, and transparent strategic decision-making in asset management.
