Abstract
Program magang merupakan sarana pembelajaran berbasis kerja yang bertujuan untuk menjembatani kesenjangan antara teori akademik dan praktik di dunia industri. Laporan magang ini membahas pelaksanaan kegiatan magang yang dilakukan di PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, khususnya pada Divisi Digital Banking Product Development (DBPD) dan Information Technology Development Division (ITDD), dalam periode Agustus 2025 hingga Januari 2026. Fokus utama kegiatan magang adalah keterlibatan dalam pengembangan dan pemeliharaan sistem perbankan digital, khususnya pada sisi backend aplikasi mobile banking Bank BTN. Selama pelaksanaan magang, penulis terlibat langsung dalam berbagai aktivitas teknis, meliputi pelaksanaan User Acceptance Testing (UAT) dan Quality Assurance (QA) menggunakan platform Tricentis qTest, pengembangan REST API menggunakan Java dan Spring Boot, pengelolaan basis data PostgreSQL, dan penerapan Redis sebagai cache layer. Selain itu, penulis juga mempelajari dan menerapkan praktik pengembangan perangkat lunak modern seperti version control menggunakan GitLab, pengujian endpoint menggunakan Postman, integrasi Continuous Integration/ Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) dengan Jenkins, serta pengujian keamanan dan kualitas kode menggunakan SonarQube melalui Static Application Security Testing (SAST). Metodologi pengembangan yang diterapkan di Bank BTN mengacu pada prinsip Agile yang dipadukan dengan tata kelola dan regulasi perbankan, yang mencakup tahapan perumusan kebutuhan bisnis, perencanaan, pengembangan, pengujian, hingga implementasi sistem. Melalui kegiatan magang ini, penulis memperoleh peningkatan kompetensi teknis di bidang backend development serta pemahaman yang komprehensif mengenai alur pengembangan sistem digital berskala enterprise. Selain itu, magang ini juga meningkatkan soft skills seperti komunikasi teknis, kerja sama tim, manajemen waktu, dan pola pikir kritis, sehingga meningkatkan kesiapan penulis untuk terjun ke dunia industri perbankan digital.

The internship program serves as a form of work-based learning that aims to bridge the gap between academic theory and real-world industrial practice. This internship report discusses the implementation of an internship conducted at PT. Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk, specifically within the Digital Banking Product Development (DBPD) Division and the Information Technology Development Division (ITDD), during the period from August 2025 to January 2026. The focus of the internship activities was involvement in the development and maintenance of digital banking systems, particularly on the backend side of Bank BTN’s mobile banking applications. Throughout the internship, the author was directly involved in various technical activities, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Quality Assurance (QA) using the Tricentis qTest platform, backend development of RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot, database management with PostgreSQL, and the implementation of Redis as a caching layer. In addition, the author applied modern software engineering practices such as source code management using GitLab, endpoint testing using Postman, Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipeline integration with Jenkins, and static code quality and security analysis through SonarQube using Static Application Security Testing (SAST). The development methodology implemented at Bank BTN follows Agile principles combined with banking governance and regulatory requirements, covering stages from business requirement formulation and planning to development, testing, and system deployment. Through this internship program, the author gained significant technical competencies in backend development and a comprehensive understanding of enterprise-scale digital banking system development. Furthermore, the internship contributed to the enhancement of soft skills, including technical communication, teamwork, time management, and critical thinking, thereby improving the author’s readiness to enter the digital banking and information technology industry.
