Abstract

Peningkatan aktivitas industri farmasi berpotensi menimbulkan dampak lingkungan berupa pencemaran air dan udara, peningkatan limbah B3, serta tingginya penggunaan sumber daya. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan sistem pengelolaan lingkungan yang terstruktur, salah satunya melalui penerapan Sistem Manajemen Lingkungan (SML) ISO 14001:2015. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesiapan PT X Unit 3 dalam mengimplementasikan SML ISO 14001:2015 melalui identifikasi aspek dan dampak lingkungan serta penilaian tingkat kesiapan perusahaan. Metode penelitian meliputi identifikasi aspek dan dampak lingkungan pada aktivitas produksi yang dianalisis tingkat risikonya menggunakan Standar AS/NZS 4360:2004, serta penilaian kesiapan implementasi ISO 14001:2015 menggunakan self-assessment checklist Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI). Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, studi dokumen, dan wawancara dengan pihak manajemen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa PT X Unit 3 memiliki berbagai aspek lingkungan dengan tingkat risiko rendah hingga tinggi, khususnya terkait limbah cair, limbah B3, emisi udara, serta penggunaan energi dan air. Perusahaan telah menunjukkan komitmen pengelolaan lingkungan melalui kepemilikan UKL-UPL dan pencapaian PROPER Biru, namun tingkat kesiapan implementasi ISO 14001:2015 masih berada pada kisaran 50–74%. Beberapa klausul, terutama perencanaan, evaluasi kinerja, dan audit internal, masih memerlukan penyempurnaan dokumen pendukung. Penerapan ISO 14001:2015 diharapkan dapat meningkatkan pengendalian dampak lingkungan dan kinerja lingkungan perusahaan secara berkelanjutan.

The increase in pharmaceutical industry activities has the potential to cause environmental impacts, including water and air pollution, an increase in hazardous and toxic waste (B3), and high resource consumption. Therefore, a structured environmental management system is required, one of which is through the implementation of the ISO 14001:2015 Environmental Management System (EMS). This study aims to analyze the readiness of PT X Unit 3 to implement the ISO 14001:2015 EMS through the identification of environmental aspects and impacts, as well as an assessment of the company’s readiness level. The research methods included the identification of environmental aspects and impacts in production activities, with risk levels analyzed using the AS/NZS 4360:2004 standard, as well as an assessment of readiness for ISO 14001:2015 implementation using the Global Environmental Management Initiative (GEMI) self-assessment checklist. Data were collected through observations, document reviews, and interviews with management personnel. The results indicate that PT X Unit 3 has various environmental aspects with risk levels ranging from low to high, particularly related to wastewater, hazardous and toxic waste, air emissions, and energy and water consumption. The company has demonstrated its commitment to environmental management through the implementation of UKL-UPL and the achievement of a Blue PROPER rating; however, the readiness level for ISO 14001:2015 implementation remains within the range of 50–74%. Several clauses, particularly planning, performance evaluation, and internal audit, still require improvement and completion of supporting documentation. The implementation of ISO 14001:2015 is expected to enhance environmental impact control and the company’s environmental performance in a sustainable manner.
