Abstract

Data terkait inventory level, cycle time, dan lead time diterjemahkan, dianalisis, dan divisualisasikan melalui dashboard digital untuk mendeteksi kondisi abnormal seperti Yama (stagnasi), Baratsuki (variasi cycle time), dan perlambatan lead time.

In modern manufacturing, supply chain efficiency and synchronization are vital to sustaining competitiveness in the automotive industry. The Just-in-Time (JIT) principle within the Toyota Production System (TPS) ensures material delivery in the right quantity, at the right time, and in the right place. While JIT effectively reduces waste (muda) and shortens lead times, its implementation across multi-company supply chains remains challenging due to limited real-time visibility and fragmented data practices. Differences in digital maturity among partners further create information silos, hindering quick detection of process deviations and coordination among stakeholders. This study proposes a conceptual design of the Material & Information Flow Chart Digital Twin (MIFCDT), an architecture based on the ISO 23247 framework to enable real-time, end-to-end visibility in automotive supply chains. The model digitally represents material flows by linking physical Observable Manufacturing Elements (OMEs) with their digital counterparts through standardized communication protocols and data formats. A conceptual case study demonstrates the application of MIFCDT in modeling material flow from Tier-1 suppliers to OEMs. Data on inventory levels, cycle time, and lead time are translated, analyzed, and visualized through a digital dashboard to detect abnormalities such as Yama (stagnation), Baratsuki (cycle time variation), and lead time delays. The results show that MIFCDT provides an integrated visibility framework that supports real-time monitoring, enhances decision-making, and lays the foundation for future Digital Twin-based implementations, strengthening the competitiveness of Indonesia’s automotive supply chain.
