Abstract

Pada tahun 2015-2019 terdapat 146 laporan dari pilot atas kejadian LLWS di wilayah Bandara Internasional Soekarno Hatta dan pada tanggal 13 April 2013 di wilayah Bali,terjadi pesawat jatuh dan terbelah menjadi dua saat akan landing, yang diperkirakan mengalami Low Level Wind Shear (LLWS). LLWS merupakan kejadian angin yang mengalami perubahan arah dan atau kecepatan secara mendadak baik horizontal maupun vertical. Kejadian ini, terjadi dalam waktu yang singkat dan bisa membahayakan keselamatan penerbangan khususnya saat pesawat take off dan landing. Pemicu kejadian LLWS di setiap daerah berbeda-beda, disaat cuaca cerah maupun ketika kondisi cuaca basah. Dan untuk mendukung keselamatan penerbangan, diperlukan kajian secara mendalam terkait faktor pemicu terjadinya dalam berbagai kondisi cuaca dan mengetahui karakteristik LLWS. Pada penelitian ini menggunakan data alert dari peralatan Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR) , Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) dan Low Level Windshear Alert System (LLWAS). Untuk menganalisa pemicu setiap kejadiannya menggunakan LiDAR dan Radar Cuaca. LiDAR bisa menangkap fenomena penyebab terjadi LLWS selain dari awan sedangkan radar cuaca bisa menggambarkan fenomena awan saat kejadian. Kajian ini diharapkan dapat mendukung keselamatan penerbangan dengan mengetahui pemetaan karakteristik dan faktor pemicu LLWS disetiap musimnya.

In 2015-2019 there were 146 reports from pilots regarding LLWS incidents in the Soekarno Hatta International Airport area and on April 13 2013 in the Bali area, a plane crashed and split into two when landing, which was estimated to have experienced Low Level Wind Shear (LLWS). LLWS is a wind event that experiences a sudden change in direction and/or speed, both horizontally and vertically. This incident occurred in a short time and could endanger flight safety, especially when the plane took off and landed. The triggers for LLWS events in each region are different, when the weather is sunny or when the weather conditions are wet. And to support flight safety, an in-depth study is needed regarding the factors that trigger it in various weather conditions and to know the characteristics of LLWS. This research uses alert data from Terminal Doppler Weather Radar (TDWR), Light Detection And Ranging (LiDAR) and Low Level Windshear Alert System (LLWAS) equipment. To analyze the triggers for each incident using LiDAR and Weather Radar. LiDAR can capture phenomena that cause LLWS other than clouds, while weather radar can describe cloud phenomena when they occur. It is hoped that this study can support aviation safety by knowing the mapping of the characteristics and trigger factors for LLWS in each season.
