Abstract
Indonesia merupakan negara kepulauan dengan kondisi geologi yang kompleks sehingga rawan terhadap bencana alam seperti gempa bumi, tsunami, letusan gunung api, banjir, dan tanah longsor. Meningkatnya jumlah kejadian bencana menuntut adanya upaya mitigasi yang efektif melalui peningkatan pengetahuan, kesadaran, dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat. Salah satu pendekatan yang potensial adalah penggunaan media edukasi berbasis teknologi interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan game simulasi mitigasi bencana berbasis Roblox Studio dengan pemrograman Lua sebagai sarana pembelajaran yang menarik dan mudah diakses oleh generasi muda. Pengujian dilakukan menggunakan black-box testing untuk menilai fungsionalitas game, usability testing untuk mengevaluasi kemudahan penggunaan, serta pre-test dan post-test untuk mengukur peningkatan pemahaman pemain terhadap prosedur mitigasi bencana. Tugas Akhir ini berhasil mengembangkan game simulasi mitigasi bencana yang mampu meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat serta memberikan kontribusi nyata dalam mendukung pengurangan risiko bencana melalui pemanfaatan game berbasis Roblox Studio.

Indonesia is an archipelagic country with complex geology, making it prone to natural disasters such as earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, floods, and landslides. The increasing number of disasters demands effective mitigation efforts through increased public knowledge, awareness, and preparedness. One potential approach is the use of interactive technology-based educational media.This research aims to design and develop a Roblox Studio-based disaster mitigation simulation game using Lua programming as an engaging and accessible learning tool for the younger generation. Testing was conducted using black-box testing to assess game functionality, usability testing to evaluate ease of use, and pre- and post-tests to measure players understanding of disaster mitigation procedures.This Final Project successfully developed a disaster mitigation simulation game that can improve public understanding and preparedness and make a tangible contribution to supporting disaster risk reduction through the use of Roblox Studio-based games.
