Abstract

The compensation program received by the people of Sumurgeneng Village provides opportunities for households to strengthen their economic conditions. However, in practice, some recipients still face challenges in managing funds wisely so that they are not fully able to achieve long-term financial resilience. This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, digital literacy, and the role of gender moderation on financial resilience using the quantitative method Partial Least Squares–Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The subjects of this study were compensated households with a sample of 100 respondents, and used a structured questionnaire for data collection. The results of the study show that financial literacy has a positive and significant effect on financial resilience, while digital literacy has a positive but insignificant effect because its use has not been productive. The moderation analysis revealed that gender did not affect the impact of financial literacy, but it was proven to moderate in strengthening the influence of digital literacy significantly due to differences in technology utilization behavior between genders. This study concludes that financial literacy is a key factor in financial resilience, while digital literacy strategies require a gender-based approach to have a real impact on household financial management.
