Abstract

Dalam konteks pengembangan perangkat lunak berbasis Scrum di lingkungan industri, pelaksanaan sprint execution sering menunjukkan perbedaan antara alur kerja yang direncanakan dan praktik yang terjadi, yang berdampak pada variasi proses dan keterlambatan penyelesaian user story. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesesuaian dan efisiensi sprint execution secara berbasis data serta mengidentifikasi tahapan dan faktor utama penyebab keterlambatan. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah process mining terhadap log aktivitas task pada sistem manajemen proyek Taiga, yang dikombinasikan dengan wawancara lintas peran yang melibatkan Analis, Programmer, Tester, Tech Lead, dan Project Manager. Analisis dilakukan pada level task sebagai process instance, sementara keterlambatan dievaluasi secara agregat pada level user story. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya variasi proses dan rework berulang pada level task, dengan bottleneck dominan terjadi pada tahap analisis akibat kembalinya pengerjaan task, yang memberikan dampak penambahan durasi paling signifikan dibandingkan tahapan lainnya. Penelitian ini berkontribusi secara teoretis melalui penguatan pendekatan integratif antara process mining dan analisis kualitatif, serta secara praktis melalui rekomendasi berbasis bukti untuk pengendalian variasi proses dan peningkatan efisiensi pelaksanaan sprint di lingkungan industri.

In the context of Scrum-based software development in an industrial setting, sprint execution often exhibits discrepancies between planned workflows and actual practices, resulting in process variation and delays in user story completion. This study aims to analyze the conformance and efficiency of sprint execution using a data-driven approach and to identify the stages and key factors contributing to delays. The study applies process mining techniques to task activity logs from the Taiga project management system, complemented by cross-role interviews involving Analysts, Programmers, Testers, Tech Leads, and Project Managers. The analysis is conducted at the task level as the process instance, while delays are evaluated in aggregate at the user story level. The results reveal recurring process variations and rework at the task level, with the dominant bottleneck occurring in the analysis phase due to tasks reverting to analysis, leading to the most significant increases in completion time compared to other stages. This study contributes theoretically by strengthening an integrative approach combining process mining and qualitative analysis, and practically by providing evidence-based recommendations for controlling process variation and improving sprint execution efficiency in industrial environments.
