Abstract
Ludruk merupakan seni pertunjukan tradisional Jawa Timur yang merepresentasikan kehidupan masyarakat melalui dialog, humor, dan kritik sosial. Seiring perkembangan teknologi dan pergeseran preferensi hiburan ke media digital, minat masyarakat terhadap seni pertunjukan tradisional, termasuk ludruk, mengalami penurunan. Kondisi ini berdampak pada semakin jarangnya pementasan serta berkurangnya kedekatan generasi muda dengan kesenian ludruk. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan bentuk adaptasi ludruk ke media digital yang tetap mempertahankan karakter pertunjukan berbasis aktor. Perancangan ini bertujuan menjawab permasalahan bagaimana merancang media pertunjukan digital ludruk yang memadukan live action dengan 3D environment. Pendekatan pertunjukan digital berbasis live action dan 3D environment dipilih karena memungkinkan kehadiran aktor secara nyata sekaligus menggantikan fungsi ruang panggung dalam membangun konteks cerita. 3D environment difungsikan sebagai pengganti ruang panggung dan disusun berdasarkan lingkungan keseharian audiens kota Surabaya untuk menetapkan konteks tempat dan ruang visual adegan. Metode perancangan mengacu pada alur produksi audiovisual yang meliputi tahap pra-produksi, produksi, dan pasca-produksi, dengan penerapan teknik virtual production berbasis chroma key sebagai media integrasi antara live action dan 3D environment. Pemilihan chroma key didasarkan pada pertimbangan efisiensi produksi, fleksibilitas perancangan visual, serta kesesuaian dengan keterbatasan ruang dan sumber daya. Hasil perancangan menunjukkan bahwa pendekatan ini dapat menjadi alternatif produksi penyajian ludruk dalam format media digital yang tetap mempertahankan identitas pertunjukan dan relevan dengan karakter audiens masa kini.

Ludruk is a traditional performing art from East Java that represents community life through dialogue, humor, and social criticism. With the advancement of technology and the shift in entertainment preferences toward digital media, public interest in traditional performing arts, including Ludruk, has declined. This situation has resulted in increasingly rare performances and a diminishing familiarity of the younger generation with Ludruk. Therefore, an adaptation of Ludruk into digital media is needed while maintaining its actor-based performance character. This design aims to address the challenge of creating a digital Ludruk performance medium that integrates live action with a 3D environment. The approach of a digital performance based on live action and 3D environment was chosen because it allows for the physical presence of actors while substituting the function of a physical stage in establishing the narrative context. The 3D environment functions as a replacement for the stage space and is constructed based on the daily environment of the Surabaya audience to establish the setting and visual space of the scenes. The design method follows an audiovisual production workflow encompassing pre-production, production, and post-production stages, applying chroma key-based virtual production techniques as the medium for integrating live action and the 3D environment. The selection of chroma key is based on considerations of production efficiency, visual design flexibility, and compatibility with space and resource limitations. The results indicate that this approach serves as a viable production alternative for presenting Ludruk in a digital format that preserves its performance identity while remaining relevant to the character of contemporary audiences.
