Abstract

Pertumbuhan kawasan perkotaan yang bersifat ekspansif pada wilayah aglomerasi mendorong perluasan kota, mengubah pola lahan terbangun dan meningkatkan suhu permukaan tanah, sehingga memperkuat fenomena Urban Heat Island (UHI). Sebagai wilayah aglomerasi strategis di Jawa Timur, Malang Raya mengalami tekanan urbanisasi dan alih fungsi lahan yang signifikan, yang tercermin dalam variasi pola lahan terbangun antarwilayah. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis pengaruh pola lahan terbangun terhadap distribusi suhu permukaan di Malang Raya melalui pengamatan dinamika spasiotemporal suhu permukaan dan tutupan lahan berbasis pengindraan jauh. Pola lahan terbangun dianalisis secara kuantitatif menggunakan spatial metrics untuk menilai komposisi dan konfigurasi lanskap, dengan mempertimbangkan faktor alami dan sosioekonomi wilayah. Pengaruh variabel dianalisis menggunakan Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) pada unit amata wilayah administrasi kecamatan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metrik komposisi (LPI), agregasi (AI dan IJI), dan konektivitas (COHESION) berpengaruh signifikan terhadap variasi suhu permukaan dengan intensitas yang berbeda antarwilayah. Model GWR menghasilkan nilai R² sebesar 0.743, Adj. R² sebesar 0.668, dan AICc sebesar 177.142. Adapun Nilai Local R² tertinggi ada pada Kawasan Lingkar Utara Kota Malang yang terdiri dari Kecamatan (Lawang, Singasari, Pakis, dan Karangploso). Selain itu, faktor eksternal berupa elevasi, jarak terhadap pusat kegiatan lokal, dan konsumsi energi listrik turut memengaruhi suhu permukaan. Temuan ini menegaskan bahwa dinamika suhu permukaan di Malang Raya dipengaruhi oleh interaksi pola spasial perkotaan, kondisi biofisik, dan aktivitas sosioekonomi, serta relevan sebagai dasar perencanaan tata ruang dan mitigasi UHI.

Expansive and unplanned urban development in agglomeration regions has driven urban sprawl, reshaping built-up land patterns and intensifying land surface temperatures, thereby reinforcing the Urban Heat Island (UHI) phenomenon. As a strategic urban agglomeration in East Java, Malang Raya has experienced substantial urbanization and land-use conversion over recent decades, resulting in pronounced spatial heterogeneity in built-up land patterns. This study examines the influence of built-up land patterns on the spatial distribution of land surface temperature (LST) in Malang Raya through spatiotemporal analysis based on remote sensing data. Built-up land patterns were quantitatively assessed using spatial metrics to characterize landscape composition and configuration, while natural and socioeconomic factors were incorporated to enrich the analysis. The spatially varying relationships between explanatory variables and LST were evaluated using Geographically Weighted Regression (GWR) at the sub-district administrative level. The results indicate that composition (AI), aggregation (AI and IJI), and connectivity (COHESION) metrics exert significant effects on LST, with varying magnitudes and directions across space. The GWR model achieved an R² of 0.743, an adjusted R² of 0.668, and an AICc value of 177.142, with the highest local R² values observed in the northern ring of Malang City, encompassing Lawang, Singasari, Pakis, and Karangploso sub-districts. Furthermore, external factors including elevation, distance to local activity centers, and household electricity consumption were found to significantly influence LST. These findings underscore that surface temperature dynamics in Malang Raya are shaped by the interaction between urban spatial structure, biophysical conditions, and socioeconomic activities, providing a robust scientific basis for spatial planning and adaptive UHI mitigation.
