Abstract

Tuberkulosis masih menjadi salah satu penyakit menular dengan kasus tertinggi di Indonesia, dengan estimasi sekitar 1 juta kasus pada tahun 2023 berdasarkan data WHO 2023. Menurut Antara News, Kementerian Kesehatan menyatakan permasalahan tuberkulosis di masyarakat erat dengan pengetahuan masyarakat. Data Profil Kesehatan Indonesia 2022 menunjukkan bahwa Tuberkulosis banyak diderita oleh kelompok usia dewasa akhir, sehingga diperlukan upaya intervensi preventif usia remaja. Pemerintah telah berupaya melalui berbagai program dan pembuatan KIE. Namun, studi menyatakan dalam pengaplikasiannya, media masih dirasa kurang efektif karena khalayak muda kurang tertarik dengan media yang ada. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan media edukasi yang sesuai dengan karakteristik remaja, salah satunya melalui media motion grafis. Penelitian dilakukan dengan berbagai pendekatan antara lain Depth Interview, Kuesioner, Studi Eksperimental, dan Validasi. Depth Interview dengan Dinas Kesehatan dan narasumber ahli untuk mendapat data yang lebih mendetail terkait topik. Kuesioner dilakukan untuk mendapat data preferensi target audiens. Studi Eksperimental dilakukan untuk merumuskan konsep desain dengan melibatkan evaluasi dari narasumber ahli. Evaluasi berulang dilakukan dengan narasumber ahli untuk menilai kesesuaian konten serta kesesuaian pendekatan visual yang dirancang. Validasi audiens digunakan sebagai dasar penyempurnaan hasil dari motion grafis yang dirancang. Luaran perancangan berupa motion grafis berjudul “Garda Tubuh”. Konsep utama motion grafis entertainment-education sebagai strategi penyampaian informasi. Gaya gambar anime stylized 2D, warna cerah dan tipografi yang tegas mendukung dalam membangun konsep naratif dari genre aksi – edukasi, sci-fi dan semi-fiksi yang diangkat. Hasil evaluasi menunjukkan bahwa animasi memperoleh indeks penilaian di atas 4,0, menandakan tingkat penerimaan yang sangat baik. Audiens mampu memahami gejala awal Tuberkulosis, menunjukkan peningkatan minat belajar, serta menilai animasi layak digunakan sebagai media edukasi kesehatan bagi remaja awal. Motion grafis ini didistribusikan pada Youtube dan dipromosikan melalui Youtube Shorts dan TikTok untuk menjangkau target audiens.

Tuberculosis remains one of the most prevalent infectious diseases in Indonesia, with an estimated one million cases in 2023 based on WHO data (2023). According to Antara News, the Ministry of Health Indonesia states that tuberculosis related problems in the community are closely associated with knowledge. Data from the Indonesian Health Profile 2022 indicate that tuberculosis is dominantly experienced by individuals in late adulthood, highlighting the need for preventive interventions beginning in adolescence. Although the government has implemented various programs and developed various media, several studies indicate that existing media remain less effective due to limited engagement among adolescent audiences. Therefore, educational media that align with adolescent characteristics are required, one of which is through motion graphics. The research was conducted using various approaches, including depth interviews, questionnaires, experimental research and validation processes. Depth interviews with the Health Department and experts were conducted to obtain comprehensive data related to the topic. Questionnaires were used to identify target audience preferences. Experimental research were carried out to formulate the motion graphic design concept through expert evaluation, followed by repeated assessments to ensure content accuracy and visual suitability. Audience validation was conducted as the basis for refining the final motion graphic.The design output is a motion graphic titled “Garda Tubuh”, which use an entertainment-education approach as its primary information delivery strategy. A stylized 2D anime visual style, bright color palette, and bold typography support the narrative aspect within the action-education, sci-fi, and semi-fiction genres. Evaluation results indicate an average rating index above 4.0, reflecting a very high level of audience acceptance. The audience demonstrated an improved understanding of tuberculosis symptoms, increased learning interest, and assessed the animation as suitable for use as a health education medium for early adolescents. The motion graphic was distributed via YouTube and promoted through YouTube Shorts and TikTok to effectively reach the target audience.
