Abstract

Sidoarjo merupakan salah satu kabupaten penghasil komoditi Ikan bandeng terbesar di Jawa Timur. Banyak dari tambak-tambak ini berada di sisi timur Kabupaten Sidoarjo. Salah satu desa yang menghasilkan ikan bandeng sebagai komoditi adalah Desa Tambak Cemandi. Desa ini memiliki banyak potensi yang dapat ditingkatkan, salah satunya dari faktor distribusi komoditi. Ditemukan fakta bahwa jumlah komoditi yang dihasilkan oleh Kabupaten Sidoarjo tidak setinggi kabupaten lain, seperti kabupaten Gresik. Hal ini disebabkan oleh penggunaan metode tradisional yang masih diterapkan di daerah tambak yang berada di pesisir pantai Sidoarjo. Namun, penggunaan metode tradisional itu juga menghasilkan komoditi dengan kualitas yang lebih baik daripada kabupaten/kota lain di Provinsi Jawa Timur. Bersama dengan tingginya popularitas kendaraan elektrik di kehidupan masyarakat Indonesia karena efisiensi energi dan kemudahan perawatannya, penelitian dilakukan untuk membuka potensi tersebut. Melalui analisis aktivitas kerja petani tambak dan kondisi lingkungan dari Desa Tambak Cemandi, dirancanglah sebuah kendaraan yang mampu mempermudah pekerjaan petani tambak, sehingga dapat meningkatkan produktivitas dari pekerjaan petani tambak tersebut.

Sidoarjo is one of the largest milkfish-producing regencies in East Java. Many of these ponds are located on the eastern side of Sidoarjo Regency. One village producing milkfish as a commodity is Tambak Cemandi Village. This village has considerable potential for improvement, one of which is commodity distribution. Sidoarjo Regency's milkfish production is not as high as other regencies, such as Gresik Regency. This is due to the continued use of traditional methods in the coastal ponds of Sidoarjo. However, these traditional methods also produce higher-quality milkfish than other regencies/cities in East Java Province. With the increasing popularity of electric vehicles in Indonesian society due to their energy efficiency and ease of maintenance, research was conducted to unlock this potential. Through an analysis of the work activities of fish farmers and the environmental conditions of Tambak Cemandi Village, a vehicle was designed to simplify their work and increase their productivity.
