Abstract

Perusahaan menghadapi kendala dalam pengelolaan lampu dan pengaturan suhu ruangan di ruang rapat yang masih dilakukan secara manual, sehingga sering terjadi kelalaian dan ketidaknyamanan bagi pengguna. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut, penelitian ini mengusulkan sistem pengelolaan cerdas berbasis background subtraction dan line counter untuk mendeteksi jumlah orang secara real-time. Sistem ini secara otomatis menyesuaikan pencahayaan dan suhu ruangan berdasarkan jumlah orang yang terdeteksi, serta mematikan perangkat setelah ruangan kosong dengan jeda waktu tertentu. Berdasarkan pengujian, sistem memiliki akurasi 68,23%, recall 82,17%, dan precision 45,42%, dengan waktu respon 0,27 hingga 0,57 detik. Sementara itu, hasil kuesioner menunjukkan lebih dari 90% responden menyatakan bahwa pengaturan suhu otomatis sudah mencukupi. Sistem ini terbukti mampu meningkatkan kenyamanan dan mengurangi ketergantungan pada pengaturan manual.

The company faces challenges in managing lighting and room temperature settings in meeting rooms, which are still done manually, often leading to negligence and discomfort for users. To address this issue, this study proposes a smart management system based on background subtraction and line counter methods to detect the number of people in real-time. The system automatically adjusts lighting and room temperature based on the number of people detected and turns off the devices after the room becomes empty with a short delay. Based on testing, the system achieved 68.23% accuracy, 82.17% recall, and 45.42% precision, with an average response time of 0.27 to 0.57 seconds. In addition, questionnaire results showed that over 90% of respondents considered the automatic temperature adjustment to be sufficient. This system has proven to enhance user comfort while reducing reliance on manual control.
