Abstract
Perundungan verbal merupakan masalah yang terus berkembang di lingkungan sekolah dasar, khususnya pada siswa berusia 10 hingga 12 tahun, namun sering kali tidak terlaporkan. Sifat pelecehan verbal yang tersembunyi, seperti pemberian julukan negatif dan pengucilan sosial, menyulitkan pendidik untuk mengidentifikasi dan menangani dampak psikologis jangka panjang pada korban. Penelitian ini bertujuan merancang media edukatif berupa animasi pendek (Youtube Shorts) untuk mencegah perundungan verbal dan menumbuhkan empati. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif, meliputi tinjauan pustaka, analisis target audiens, serta wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, psikolog anak, dan ahli animasi. Hasil perancangan berupa satu episode animasi pendek yang telah divalidasi sebagai jembatan komunikasi antara guru dan siswa. Tahap pengujian pengguna (user testing) yang melibatkan 9 responden menunjukkan bahwa meskipun dengan ukuran sampel terbatas, media ini memperlihatkan potensi yang dalam membantu anak memahami pesan visual yang disampaikan. Selain itu, hasil pengujian mengindikasikan bahwa animasi ini efektif dalam membelajarkan siswa mengenai tata cara dan keberanian melaporkan insiden kepada guru. Secara keseluruhan, animasi pendek ini berfungsi sebagai media pendamping strategis bagi sekolah dasar untuk menggambarkan konsekuensi emosional dari perundungan, mendorong perilaku prososial, serta memperbaiki mekanisme pelaporan demi keamanan lingkungan belajar.

Verbal bullying is a growing concern in elementary schools, particularly among students aged 10 to 12, yet it often remains underreported. The covert nature of verbal abuse, such as name-calling and social exclusion, poses challenges for educators in addressing the long-term psychological impacts on children. This study aims to develop an educational tool in the form of a short animation (YouTube Shorts) designed specifically to prevent verbal bullying and foster empathy within the school environment. This study employs qualitative methods, including literature review, audience analysis, and in-depth interviews with school principals, child psychologists, and animation experts. The research resulted in a single-episode short animation that has been validated as a communication bridge between teachers and students. User testing conducted with a focused group of 9 respondents suggests that, despite the limited sample size, the animation demonstrates potential in facilitating children's comprehension of the visual medium. Furthermore, the results indicate that the animation effectively educates students on how to properly report incidents to teachers. Ultimately, this short animation serves as a viable supplementary medium, providing elementary schools with practical strategies to illustrate the emotional consequences of bullying, encourage prosocial behavior, and improve the overall social safety of the learning environment.
