Abstract

The relocation of Indonesia’s capital city from Jakarta to the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN) is driven by issues of population density, environmental degradation, regional development disparities, and limited carrying capacity of Jakarta, leading to the adoption of a green city concept that emphasizes sustainability and resource efficiency. In this context, the Bauhütte 4.0 concept emerges as an integrated development approach with the potential to enhance supply chain efficiency through the optimization of construction processes and material distribution. However, the current implementation of IKN development is still dominated by conventional supply chain systems characterized by dispersed material distribution, suboptimal selection of supply locations, and high logistics costs, resulting in a gap between sustainable development concepts and practical implementation. This study aims to design a supply chain model for IKN infrastructure development based on the Bauhütte 4.0 concept and to compare its cost efficiency with conventional schemes using a mathematical optimization approach. The research methods include supply chain modeling, cost analysis, and optimization using Linear Programming, with decision variables consisting of supply location selection, transportation modes, and distribution capacity. The results indicate that the application of Bauhütte 4.0 reduces total costs from approximately IDR 1.055 trillion to IDR 1.018 trillion through resource optimization and integrated material distribution. These findings demonstrate that the Bauhütte 4.0 concept effectively supports efficient and sustainable infrastructure development in IKN.
