Abstract

Pertumbuhan transportasi publik perkotaan menuntut sistem feeder yang tidak hanya efisien secara operasional, tetapi juga inklusif dan nyaman bagi seluruh pengguna. Penelitian ini berfokus pada perancangan kendaraan feeder elektrik antar kota yang ramah disabilitas dengan studi kasus Feeder Wira Wiri Kota Surabaya, menggunakan pendekatan Load of Passenger (LOPAS) sebagai parameter utama perancangan. Analisis LOPAS dilakukan untuk memahami pola muatan penumpang, komposisi pengguna, serta kebutuhan ruang dan fasilitas selama operasi harian. Metode penelitian meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, analisis rute, Market Survey & Competitor Analysis (MSCA), serta kajian dimensi kendaraan dan infrastruktur pendukung. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kapasitas penumpang, konfigurasi interior, dan fitur aksesibilitas memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kenyamanan, efisiensi waktu naik–turun penumpang, serta kinerja operasional feeder. Berdasarkan temuan tersebut, diusulkan desain kendaraan feeder elektrik dengan lantai rendah, ruang kursi roda, pintu lebar, serta sistem informasi penumpang yang mampu mengakomodasi beban penumpang secara optimal. Rancangan ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan kualitas layanan Feeder Wira Wiri sebagai transportasi publik yang berkelanjutan dan ramah pengguna kursi roda di Kota Surabaya.

The growth of urban public transportation requires feeder systems that are not only operationally efficient but also inclusive and comfortable for all users. This study focuses on the design of a disability-friendly electric feeder vehicle, using the Wira Wiri Feeder in Surabaya as a case study, with the Load of Passenger (LOPAS) approach as the main design parameter. LOPAS analysis was conducted to understand passenger load patterns, user composition, and spatial and facility requirements during daily operations. The research methods include literature review, field observation, route analysis, Market Survey and Competitor Analysis (MSCA), as well as vehicle dimension and supporting infrastructure studies. The results indicate that passenger capacity, interior configuration, and accessibility features significantly affect comfort, boarding and alighting efficiency, and overall feeder operational performance. Based on these findings, an electric feeder vehicle design is proposed, featuring a low-floor layout, wheelchair space, wide doors, and a passenger information system capable of accommodating passenger loads optimally. This design is expected to enhance the service quality of the Wira Wiri Feeder as a sustainable and wheelchair-friendly urban public transportation system in Surabaya.
