Abstract

The theory of Biophilia Architecture is becoming increasingly relevant in the design of today's workspaces, especially in improving employee well-being and productivity in dense urban environments. This research explores the concept of a “Biophilic Workspace” by integrating natural elements that support employees' physical and mental well-being. Based on Edward O. Wilson's biophilia theory, this research analyzes the impact of natural lighting, vegetation, and eco-friendly materials on employee comfort and productivity. The methods used included a case study analysis of several biophilic workspaces and a survey of employees to measure the impact of the biophilic work experience on their well-being. The results show that biophilic design has a significant contribution in improving employees' focus, comfort, and reducing stress levels. The findings are expected to serve as a reference for architects and developers in creating workspaces that are healthier, responsive, and suited to the needs of employees in the modern era.
