Abstract

Medical Center Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) berfungsi sebagai fasilitas pelayanan kesehatan pratama yang melayani civitas akademika ITS dan masyarakat umum dengan berbagai jenis layanan kesehatan. Dengan kompleksitas fungsi dan aktivitas di dalamnya, Medical Center ITS memerlukan kualitas ruang interior yang memenuhi standar medis dan memberikan kenyamanan fisik serta psikologis bagi pengguna. Kondisi interior yang ada saat ini belum mendukung alur pelayanan, pelayanan pengguna, dan corporate image ITS. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan desain ruang interior yang terintegrasi dan berorientasi pada pengguna. Perancangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain interior Medical Center ITS yang optimal melalui penerapan konsep therapeutic environment. Metode yang digunakan meliputi studi literatur, observasi lapangan, penyebaran kuesioner, serta wawancara dengan pihak terkait, yang kemudian dianalisis sebagai dasar penyusunan konsep desain. Konsep therapeutic environment diterapkan melalui pengolahan tata ruang, sirkulasi, elemen interior, warna, pencahayaan, serta sistem informasi ruang yang mendukung rasa aman, tenang, dan nyaman. Hasil perancangan diharapkan mampu meningkatkan kualitas pelayanan kesehatan, menciptakan lingkungan yang mendukung proses penyembuhan, serta memperkuat identitas Medical Center ITS sebagai unit pelaksana teknis yang representatif dan berorientasi pada kenyamanan pengguna.

Medical Center Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS) is a pratama healthcare facility that serves both the general public and the academic community of ITS. The facility's interior environment must support users' physical and mental comfort in addition to adhering to medical standards due to the variety and intensity of activities conducted there. Efficient service flow, user comfort, and institutional representation have not been fully supported by the current interior conditions. To solve these problems, an integrated interior redesign is necessary. This project aims to develop an optimum interior design planning of Medical Center ITS by applying the therapeutic environment concept. Literature reviews, field observations, surveys, and interviews with user are used in the design process. Systematic analysis serves as the foundation for design development. In order to create a peaceful, secure, and encouraging environment, the therapeutic environment concept is put into practice through interior design, color schemes, lighting, information systems, circulation planning, and spatial organization. It is anticipated that the suggested design will enhance the standard of healthcare services, aid in users' recovery, and solidify the Medical Center ITS’ reputation as a representative and user-focused UPT of ITS.
