Abstract

The Stackelberg game is a form of non-cooperative game with perfect information, charac- terized by the presence of a leader and a follower who make decisions sequentially. This feature distinguishes the Stackelberg game from other games that are simultaneous in nature or involve imperfect information. This study aims to examine the effect of quantization on the structure and outcomes of a two-player Stackelberg game, involving Alice as the leader and Bob as the follower. The game is quantized using the Marinatto-Weber approach by applying quantum op- erators to the players' classical strategies. The analysis focuses on the payoff values obtained under various quantization parameters. The results show that game quantization influences the distribution and variation of payoff values within a certain range, indicating differences in game characteristics compared to the classical formulation
