Abstract
Indonesia sebagai negara kepulauan memiliki potensi maritim sangat besar, hal tersebut membutuhkan industri perkapalan dan didukung melalui layanan kepelabuhan. Galangan kapal merupakan salah satu supporting business functions dalam layanan kepelabuhan untuk menciptakan kehandalan kapal. Namun, dalam pengelolaan galangan kapal, terdapat berbagai tantangan komersial hingga operasional. Salah satu tantangan yang dihadapi adalah rendahnya utilisasi yang mengakibatkan pemanfaatan aset galangan tidak optimal. Hal tersebut berdampak langsung pada distribusi beban tetap tidak merata yang berpotensi menimbulkan kerugian bagi perusahaan. Sistem reservasi layanan berperan sebagai instrumen komersialisasi layanan kepada pelanggan, saat ini sistem reservasi dilakukan secara manual dan tidak efisien. Sistem manual ini memakan waktu, terjadinya benturan penjadwalan, ketidakpastian jadwal, dan lemahnya koordinasi antara pihak galangan dan pelanggan. Penelitian ini memiliki tujuan untuk merancang User Interface (UI) dan User Experience (UX) pada aplikasi web sistem reservasi layanan galangan kapal sehingga tercipta pengalaman pengguna dalam proses pemesanan layanan yang efisien, terstruktur, dan responsif. Pengalaman pengguna yang baik mampu meningkatkan efektivitas proses reservasi layanan galangan melalui pendekatan Design Thinking. Pendekatan ini digunakan untuk memastikan bahwa solusi yang dibangun benar-benar berpusat pada kebutuhan pengguna, baik dari sisi manajemen galangan maupun pelanggan. Penelitian dilakukan melalui lima tahapan Design Thinking, yaitu empathize, define, ideate, prototype, dan test. Data diperoleh melalui wawancara dengan pengguna, observasi proses bisnis, serta uji coba prototipe terhadap pengguna layanan galangan kapal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perancangan aplikasi web yang berfokus pada kemudahan penggunaan, kejelasan informasi jadwal penggunaan galangan, transparansi jadwal, fitur koordinasi antar pihak, serta database layanan galangan, secara signifikan meningkatkan efektivitas proses. Dengan implementasi aplikasi web ini, diharapkan dapat mengoptimalkan utilisasi galangan, mempercepat proses pemesanan dan meningkatkan daya saing diindustri galangan kapal.

Indonesia, as a maritime nation, greatly depends on the shipbuilding industry to support economic growth through the trade and marine transportation sectors. Shipyards are one of the supporting business functions within port services, ensuring reliable ships. However, shipyard management faces various commercial and operational challenges. One such challenge is low utilization, resulting in suboptimal utilization of shipyard asets. This directly impacts the uneven distribution of fixed costs, potentially incurring losses for the company. The service reservation system serves as an instrument for commercializing services to customers. Currently, the reservation system is manual and inefficient. This manual system is timeconsuming, leads to scheduling conflicts, schedule uncertainty, and poor coordination between shipyards and customers. This research aims to design the User Interface (UI) and User Experience (UX) for a web application for a shipyard service reservation system to create an efficient, structured, and responsive user experience during the service booking process. A good user experience can improve the effectiveness of the shipyard service reservation process through a Design Thinking approach. This approach is used to ensure that the developed solution truly centers on user needs, both from the shipyard management and customer perspectives. The research was conducted through five stages of Design Thinking: empathize, define, ideate, prototype, and test. Data was obtained through user interviews, business process observations, and prototype trials with shipyard service users. The results showed that designing a web application that focused on ease of use, clarity of dockyard schedule information, schedule transparency, inter-party coordination features, and a dockyard service database significantly improved process effectiveness. Implementing this web application is expected to optimize dockyard utilization, accelerate the ordering process, and increase competitiveness in the shipyard industry.
