Abstract
Kemudahan dalam mengakses informasi melalui website merupakan salah satu dampak dari adanya digitilasisasi. Lembaga Pendidikan Tinggi memanfaatkan hal tersebut dengan menyediakan website yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan aksesibilitas dan sarana promosi. Website merupakan sumber informasi yang penting dan utama bagi sebuah Perguruan Tinggi, namun terdapat banyak website yang tidak dikelola dan dikembangkan dengan baik sesuai dengan perubahan target user sehingga memiliki nilai usability issues yang tinggi bahkan termasuk kedalam kategori worse than average. Lembaga pendidikan tinggi membutuhkan website yang efektif untuk melayani kebutuhan stakeholder dan user experience (UX) merupakan salah satu aspek kualitas website yang paling menonjol saat ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengukur tingkat UX dua website Perguruan Tinggi yaitu Universitas Indonesia (UI) dan Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) menggunakan electroencephalography (EEG) dan membandingkan hasil user experience berdasarkan pengukuran secara objektif dan subjektif. Eksperimen dilakukan dengan memberikan task pada tiap website, dimana aktivitas otak responden akan direkam secara real-time oleh EEG. Selain itu, terdapat pengukuran secara subjektif dengan menggunakan User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). Hasil yang didapatkan pada penelitian ini yaitu menunjukkan bahwa UX website UI dan UNAIR kurang bagus karena memiliki nilai relative power theta yang tinggi. Selaras dengan hasil UEQ yang menunjukkan bahwa hampir secara keseluruhan skala UEQ pada website UI termasuk dalam kategori bad (buruk) dan seluruh skala UEQ pada website UNAIR termasuk dalam kategori below average (dibawah rata-rata). Berdasarkan measure alternative Brown-Gibson menunjukkan bahwa nilai UNAIR lebih tinggi jika dibandingkan dengan UI. Pada penelitian ini juga ditemukan adanya korelasi yang signifikan antara skala novelty dengan theta dan alpha pada website UI serta secara keseluruhan hanya skala novelty yang memiliki pengaruh secara parsial terhadap EEG melalui uji multiple regression. Berdasarkan analisis masalah yang ditemukan dengan melihat hasil EEG dan hasil UEQ, terdapat total 6 rekomendasi perbaikan untuk website UI seperti memberi daya tarik halaman utama melalui slide banner, memberi tombol call to action yang jelas, memberi tombol sort dan filter, membuat desain navigasi yang jelas, menambahkan ilustrasi yang atraktif, menambah fitur baru seperti menyediakan fitur form tanggapan, fitur guidance, fitur quick links. Adapun total 6 rekomendasi perbaikan website UNAIR yaitu seperti membuat desain tampilan website yang lebih mudah dipahami, memberikan dropdown menu, memberi tombol zoom in/zoom out, memberikan desain navigasi yang jelas, memberikan ilustrasi yang menarik dan atraktif, serta menambah fitur baru seperti form tanggapan dan fitur help sebagai guidance.

The ease of accessing information through the website is one of the impacts of digitization. Higher Education Institutions take advantage of this by providing a website that aims to improve accessibility and promotional tools. The website is an important and main source of information for a university, but there are many websites that are not managed and developed properly in accordance with changes in the target user so that they have a high usability issues value and are even included in the worse than average category. Higher education institutions need an effective website to serve the needs of stakeholders and user experience (UX) is one of the most prominent aspects of website quality today. This study aims to measure the UX level of two university websites, namely Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR) using electroencephalography (EEG) and compare user experience results based on objective and subjective measurements. The experiment was carried out by assigning a task to each website, where the brain activity of the respondent would be recorded in real-time by EEG. In addition, there is a subjective measurement using the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ). The results obtained in this study indicate that the UX of UI and UNAIR websites is not good because they have a high relative power theta value. In line with the UEQ results, which show that almost the entire UEQ scale on the UI website is in the bad category (bad) and the entire UEQ scale on the UNAIR website is in the below average category (below average). Based on the alternative measure, Brown-Gibson shows that UNAIR's score is higher than UI's. This study also found a significant correlation between the novelty scale with theta and alpha on the UI website and overall only the novelty scale had a partial effect on the EEG through multiple regression tests. Based on the analysis of the problems found by looking at the EEG results and UEQ results, there are a total of 6 recommendations for improvements for the UI website such as giving the main page attractiveness through a slide banner, providing clear call to action buttons, providing sort and filter buttons, making clear navigation designs, add attractive illustrations, add new features such as providing feedback form features, guidance features, quick links feature. There are a total of 6 recommendations for improving the UNAIR website, such as making the website display design easier to understand, providing dropdown menus, providing zoom in/zoom out buttons, providing clear navigation designs, providing attractive and attractive illustrations, and adding new features such as feedback forms and the help feature as a guide.
