Abstract
Persediaan merupakan salah satu faktor yang mendukung lancarnya operasional perusahaan. Terdapat biaya yang cukup besar di dalamnya dan biaya untuk mengelola persediaan merupakan hidden cost namun menjadi bagian dari biaya produk. Oleh karena itu diperlukan pengendalian persediaan yang baik, sehingga perusahaan dapat terhindar dari kondisi stockout maupun overstock dan mampu memaksimalkan profit tanpa mengorbankan service level. CV. X yang merupakan distributor bahan kimia dengan produk utama chemical industry, saat ini selalu mengandalkan perkiraan dari staff warehouse untuk menentukan jumlah pemesanan dan waktu pemesanan. Hal ini membuat perusahaan beberapa kali mengalami stockout dan overstock. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk memberikan rekomendasi kebijakan pengendalian persediaan yang mampu memenuhi target service level perusahaan sebesar 95% dengan total biaya paling minimum. Untuk mengetahui kebijakan yang tepat, perlu diketahui pola permintaan terhadap 14 SKU dengan perhitungan ADI-CV dimana didapatkan 2 produk berpola erratic dan 12 produk berpola lumpy. Setelah itu akan dihitung parameter dari tiap kebijakan, pola lumpy menggunakan periodic review (R, S) system sedangkan pola erratic menggunakan continuous review (s, Q) dan (s, S). Kemudian dilakukan Simulasi Monte Carlo untuk mengetahui pengaruh masing-masing rekomendasi skenario kebijakan terhadap total biaya persediaan dan service level. Hasil rekomendasi terbaik yang didapatkan untuk produk berpola erratic mengalami peningkatan service level 13,13% menjadi 97,77% dengan total biaya Rp 3.061.672.921, meningkatkan proporsi revenue terhadap total biaya sebesar 0,95%. dan produk berpola lumpy mengalami peningkatan service level 10,55% menjadi 96,10% dengan total biaya Rp 8.258.897.738, meningkatkan proporsi revenue terhadap total biaya sebesar 0,41%.

Inventory is one of the factors that support the smooth operation of the company. There is a considerable cost in it and the cost of managing inventory is a hidden cost but is part of the product cost. Therefore, good inventory control is needed, so that companies can avoid stockout and overstock conditions and are able to maximize profits without sacrificing service levels. CV X, a chemical distributor with the chemical industry's main product, currently relies on estimates from warehouse staff to determine the number of orders and the time of ordering. This caused the company to have stockout and overstock problems several times. This study was conducted to provide recommendations for inventory control policies that can meet the company's service level target of 95% with the minimum total cost. To find out the right policy, it is necessary to know the pattern of demand for 14 SKUs with the ADI-CV calculation where 2 products have an erratic pattern and 12 products with a lumpy pattern. After that, the parameters of each policy will be calculated, the lumpy pattern uses a periodic review (R, S) system while the erratic pattern uses a continuous review (s, Q) and (s, S). Then a Monte Carlo simulation was conducted to determine the effect of each policy scenario recommendation on the total inventory cost and service level. The best recommendation results are products with an erratic pattern have an increase in service level of 13.13% to 97.77% with a total cost of Rp 3,061,672,921, increasing the proportion of revenue to total costs by 0.95%and products with a lumpy pattern have an increase in service level of 10.55% to 96.10% with a total cost of Rp. 8,258,897,738, increasing the proportion of revenue to total costs by 0.41%.
