Abstract

Penyulang Pesawat ULP Pendopo UP3 Lubuk Linggau merupakan salah satu saluran distribusi penting yang menyuplai energi listrik bagi pelanggan industri maupun umum. Keandalan sistem distribusi sangat dipengaruhi oleh sistem proteksi yang mampu bekerja cepat, tepat, dan selektif dalam mengamankan gangguan. Salah satu proteksi yang dapat diterapkan adalah undercurrent relay (UCR), yang berfungsi mendeteksi kondisi arus di bawah nilai tertentu untuk mencegah kerusakan peralatan serta menjaga kontinuitas suplai listrik. Dalam praktik keinsinyuran ini, fokus diarahkan pada perancangan penerapan UCR pada Penyulang Pesawat, yang meliputi analisis deskriptif kondisi sistem, perhitungan analitik arus nominal dan parameter setting relay, serta simulasi kinerja proteksi. Luaran dari praktik keinsinyuran ini berupa dokumen teknis yang mencakup rancangan setting relay, analisis kinerja proteksi, serta rekomendasi implementasi UCR pada penyulang. Manfaat keinsinyuran dari kegiatan ini adalah mendukung peningkatan keandalan sistem distribusi PLN, melindungi peralatan dari risiko kerusakan, serta memperkuat aspek K3 dan K2 petugas lapangan.

The Feeder of ULP Pendopo UP3 Lubuk Linggau is one of the critical distribution lines that supplies electrical energy to industrial and general consumers. The reliability of the distribution system is strongly influenced by protection systems that operate quickly, accurately, and selectively to secure faults. One of the protection methods that can be applied is the Undercurrent Relay (UCR), which functions to detect current conditions below a specified threshold in order to prevent equipment damage and maintain supply continuity. This engineering practice focuses on the design and application of UCR on the Pesawat Feeder, including a descriptive analysis of the system conditions, analytical calculations of nominal current and relay setting parameters, as well as protection performance simulations. The outputs of this practice consist of technical documents that include relay setting designs, performance analysis, and recommendations for UCR implementation on the feeder. The engineering benefits of this activity are to support the improvement of PLN’s distribution system reliability, protect equipment from potential damage, and strengthen occupational safety aspects (K3 and K2) for field personnel.
