Abstract

Maintenance is a crucial part in industry. One of the outsourcing maintenance companies of PT. INDONESIA POWER, found accidents in the company while conducting firefighting maintenance activities. PT.X has the largest accident rate out of all the existing outsourcing companies. The accidents that occurred in the company are electrical shock, fire accident, slip off, and injury. Based on the condition, the research is conducted with the purposes of identifying hazards in the working process of PT.X, identifying and reducing the risk of work accidents that may occur. The objectives of this research are to conduct assessment towards the safety level in PT.X, identify hazards in the firefighting maintenance process of PT.X, identify and reduce the potential risk of work accidents in PT.X’s working area and provide recommendations to improve the health and safety level in PT.X. The methods used in this research are Job Safety Analysis - Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment. This research is a qualitative research. The methods used to gather data are direct observations, historical data, and interviews towards the employee of PT.X. The result of the research shows that death is the highest risk occurrence in the maintenance process. Hence, recommendations provided for PT. X are requirements towards the standard operation procedure due to the accidents that occurred and existing condition of the company. The recommendations are made to improve the level of health and safety level in firefighting maintenance processes and additions towards standard operation procedure in PT.X

Pemeliharaan merupakan bagian penting dalam industri. Salah satu perusahaan outsourcing maintenance PT. INDONESIA POWER, ditemukan kecelakaan di perusahaan saat melakukan kegiatan pemeliharaan pemadam kebakaran. PT.X memiliki tingkat kecelakaan terbesar dari semua perusahaan outsourcing yang ada. Kecelakaan yang terjadi di perusahaan adalah sengatan listrik, kecelakaan kebakaran, terpeleset, dan cedera. Berdasarkan kondisi tersebut, penelitian dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengidentifikasi bahaya dalam proses kerja PT.X, mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi risiko kecelakaan kerja yang mungkin terjadi. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melakukan penilaian terhadap tingkat keselamatan di PT.X, mengidentifikasi bahaya dalam proses pemeliharaan pemadam kebakaran PT.X, mengidentifikasi dan mengurangi potensi risiko kecelakaan kerja di wilayah kerja PT.X dan memberikan rekomendasi untuk meningkatkan tingkat kesehatan dan keselamatan kerja di PT.X. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Job Safety Analysis - Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif. Metode yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah observasi langsung, data historis, dan wawancara terhadap karyawan PT.X. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kematian merupakan risiko tertinggi terjadinya dalam proses pemeliharaan. Oleh karena itu, rekomendasi yang diberikan kepada PT. X merupakan persyaratan terhadap prosedur operasi standar akibat kecelakaan yang terjadi dan kondisi eksisting perusahaan. Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk meningkatkan tingkat kesehatan dan keselamatan dalam proses pemeliharaan pemadam kebakaran dan penambahan terhadap prosedur operasi standar di PT.X
