Abstract

RSUD ODSK Provinsi Sulawesi Utara sebagai rumah sakit rujukan regional memiliki ketergantungan penuh terhadap suplai listrik dari jaringan PLN. Berdasarkan data tahun 2024, total konsumsi energi listrik RSUD ODSK mencapai 3.381.380 kWh dengan biaya listrik sekitar Rp2,74 miliar per tahun. Kondisi ini mendorong perlunya penerapan sumber energi alternatif yang lebih efisien dan berkelanjutan, salah satunya melalui pemanfaatan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya (PLTS) rooftop. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan teknis dan ekonomi penerapan sistem PLTS rooftop terhubung jaringan (on-grid) pada gedung Rumah Sakit. Metodologi penelitian diawali dengan pengumpulan data konsumsi energi dan analisis profil beban listrik harian rumah sakit berdasarkan data Main Distribution Panel (MDP) lalu dilanjutkan pemetaan potensi area rooftop menggunakan Google Earth serta perancangan sistem PLTS pada empat lokasi utama, yaitu Rooftop Lantai 6, Lantai 5, Lantai 3, dan Gedung Farmasi. Selanjutnya dilakukan Evaluasi kinerja teknis sistem PLTS dilakukan menggunakan perangkat lunak PVsyst. Hasil simulasi menunjukkan bahwa system PLTS dengan total kapasitas terpasang 399 kWp mampu menghasilkan energy listrik tahunan sebesar 739.456 kWh atau sekitar 21,87% dari total kebutuhan energi listrik rumah sakit. Skenario optimal tanpa Gedung Farmasi, yaitu kombinasi Rooftop Lantai 3, Lantai 5, dan Lantai 6 dengan kapasitas 346,2 kWp, menghasilkan energi sebesar 642.525 kWh per tahun atau sekitar 19% dari kebutuhan listrik RSUD ODSK. Analisis kesesuaian profil produksi dan beban menunjukkan bahwa seluruh energi PLTS dapat dimanfaatkan secara langsung tanpa menimbulkan kelebihan energi. Dari sisi ekonomi, penerapan PLTS rooftop berpotensi memberikan penghematan biaya listrik hingga sekitar Rp930.000.000/tahun. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, sistem PLTS rooftop on-grid dinyatakan layak secara teknis dan ekonomis untuk diterapkan pada RSUD ODSK.

RSUD ODSK, the regional referral hospital in North Sulawesi Province, is fully dependent on the electricity supply from the PLN grid. Based on 2024 data, the total electricity consumption of RSUD ODSK reached 3,381,380 kWh with an electricity cost of around Rp2.74 billion per year. This condition necessitates the implementation of more efficient and sustainable alternative energy sources, one of which is the utilization of Rooftop Solar Photovoltaic (PLTS) systems. This study aims to analyze the technical and economic feasibility of implementing an on-grid PLTS rooftop system on the hospital buildings. The research methodology begins with the collection of energy consumption data and analysis of the hospital's daily load profile based on the Main Distribution Panel (MDP) data, followed by mapping the rooftop potential using Google Earth and designing the PLTS system on four main locations, namely Rooftop Floor 6, Floor 5, Floor 3, and the Pharmacy Building. Further, the technical performance evaluation of the PLTS system is carried out using the PVsyst software. The simulation results show that the PLTS system with a total installed capacity of 399 kWp can generate an annual electricity of 739,456 kWh or around 21.87% of the hospital's total electricity demand. The optimal scenario without the Pharmacy Building, which is a combination of Rooftop Floor 3, Floor 5, and Floor 6 with a capacity of 346.2 kWp, generates 642,525 kWh per year or around 19% of RSUD ODSK's electricity demand. The analysis of the production and load profile compatibility indicates that the entire PLTS energy can be directly utilized without causing excess energy. From an economic perspective, the implementation of the PLTS rooftop system has the potential to provide electricity cost savings of up to around Rp930,000,000/year. Based on these results, the on-grid PLTS rooftop system is declared technically and economically feasible to be implemented at RSUD ODSK.
