Abstract
PT. XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak pada bidang manufaktur alat kesehatan. Permasalahan yang saat ini sering terjadi adalah keterlambatan proses produksi dimana hal tersebut akan berdampak pada pemenuhan permintaan kepada konsumen. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa tedapat inefisiensi penggunaan kode dan penamaan pada part sehingga dapat menjadi kendala dalam proses produksi. Penelitian ini akan berfokus pada pengembangan proses bisnis pada Bagian Engineering sebagai bagian yang berperan dalam manajemen proses bisnis yang berlaku di dalam perusahaan. Pengembangan proses bisnis tersebut dilakukan menggunakan metode Business Process Improvement dengan framework SUPER Methodology. Berdasarkan hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa terdapat 9 penyebab terjadi keterlambatan produksi yaitu terdapat 2 versi Bill of Material yang berlaku, bentuk kedatangan supplier yang berbeda-beda, penggantian jadwal produksi, pembuatan jadwal berdasarkan pre-order paling baru, masalah pada prosedur cetak dokumen, penerimaan barang, dan kesesuaian material, kekurangan resource pada sub bagian desain, serta deadline desain terlalu dekat. Beberapa masalah tersebut kemudian disusun rekomendasi perbaikan antara lain memperbaiki job description, pembuatan sistem informasi, dan penambahan tenaga kerja. Guna menyelesaikan masalah inefisiensi nama dan kode Bill of Material, dirancang suatu sistem informasi menggunakan Visual Basic Application (VBA). Sistem informasi tersebut memiliki 3 fitur utama yaitu halaman data entry yang berguna untuk memperbaharui data apabila terdapat pergantian komponen Bill of Material, halaman filter untuk matching kode dan penamaan dari versi engineering dan gudang, serta halaman dokumen yang menampilkan rekap dokumen apa saja yang diperlukan pada proses bisnis yang dipilih. Rancangan sistem informasi tersebut dilanjutkan dengan pengujian usability testing pada 3 karyawan Bagian Engineering. Hasil dari pengujian tersebut didapatkan skor 71 yang menandakan bahwa sistem layak untuk digunakan.

PT. XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing medical devices. The problem that currently often occurs is the delay in the production process which will have an impact on fulfilling the demand of consumers. In addition, it was found that there are inefficiencies in the use of code and naming in parts so which can become an obstacle in the production process. This research will focus on the development of business processes in the Engineering Department as the part that plays a role in the management of business processes that apply within the company. The business process development is carried out using the Business Process Improvement method with the SUPER Methodology framework. Based on the results obtained that there are 9 causes of production delays, namely there are 2 versions of the applicable Bill of Materials, different forms of supplier arrivals, production schedules, making schedules based on the most recent orders, document printing procedures, receiving goods, and adjusting materials, lack of resources in the design sub-section, and the design deadline is too close. Some of these problems were then made recommendations for improvement, including improving job descriptions, making information systems, and adding workers. To solve problems in the efficiency of Bill of Material names and codes, and information system was designed using Visual Basic Application (VBA). The information system has 3 main features, namely a data entry page that is useful for updating data if there is a change in the Bill of Material component, a filter page to match the code and naming of the engineering and warehouse versions, and a document page that displays a recap of what documents are needed in the process. selected business. The design of the information system is continued with usability testing in 3 Engineering Sections. The results of these tests obtained a score of 71 which indicates that the system is feasible to use.
