Abstract
Pada Instrument and Kontrol Laboratory Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember memiliki simulator plant mengenai sistem pengendalian level berbasis PC yang digunakan sebagai metode pembelajaran. Simulator plant tersebut menggunakan kontrol on-off. Sedangkan pada sebagian besar industri mengunakan kontrol PID. Pada umumnya untuk mendapatkan parameter PID digunakan metode tuning trial and error. Metode trial and error sulit dilakukan dan memakan waktu yang lama, dan penalaan kurang efektif jika dilakukan menggunakan pemodelan yang sistematis. Dalam tugas akhir ini dilakukan perancangan autotuning PID yang menggunakan metode Ziegler Nichol 1 yang talah diprogram sehingga tidak perlu dilakukan tuning dengan manual. Step signal diberikan kepada plant sehingga didapatkan respon dari plant tersebut. Dari respon yang didapatkan akan dilakukan recording dan analisa hingga didapatkan nilai parameter PID. Pada tugas akhir ini hasil parameter PID dengan nilai step 100 didapatkan nilai Kp 4,208, Ti 12,21, Td 3,052, dengan karakteristik respon ketika diaplikasikan didapatkan nilai rise time 66 detik, nilai maximum overshoot 8,1%, nilai steady-state error 7,4%, dan nilai settling time adalah 94 detik. Hasil parameter PID dengan nilai step 70 didapatkan nilai Kp 4,127, nilai Ti 16,35, dan nilai Td 4,089, dengan karakteristik respon ketika diaplikasikan didapatkan nilai rise time 69 detik, nilai maximum overshoot 7,6%, nilai steady-state error 7,4%, dan nilai settling time adalah 89 detik. Hasil parameter PID dengan nilai step 70 didapatkan nilai Kp 4,242, nilai Ti 47,65, dan nilai Td 11,911, dengan karakteristik respon ketika diaplikasikan didapatkan nilai rise time 68 detik, nilai maximum overshoot 8,4%, nilai steady-state error 7,4%, dan nilai settling time adalah 115 detik. Dengan adanya penelitian ini diharapkan dapat membantu dalam proses pembelajaran di Instrument and Kontrol Laboratory Departemen Teknik Instrumentasi Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember serta dapat digunakan sebagai penelitian lebih lanjut.

In the Instrumentation and Kontrol Laboratory, the Department of Instrumentation Engineering, Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology, has a plant simulator regarding a PCbased level kontrol sistem that is used as a learning method. The plant simulator uses on-off kontrol. While in most industries using PID kontrol. In general, to get the PID parameter, trial and error tuning method is used. The trial and error method is difficult to do and takes a long time, and the tuning is less effective if it is done using sistematic modeling. In this final project, PID autotuning is designed using the Ziegler Nichol 1 method which has been programmed so that no manual tuning is needed. This is done by giving a step signal to the plant so that a response from the plant is obtained. From the response obtained, recording and analysis will be carried out to obtain the PID parameter value. In this final project the results of the PID parameter with a step value of 100 obtained the value of Kp 4.208, Ti 12.21, Td 3.052, with response characteristics when applied when the rise time value is 66 seconds, the maximum overshoot value is 8.1%, the steady-state value is error 7.4%, and the value of settling time is 94 seconds.
